I have this kit and have used it multiple times on head lights and tail lights including crhome parts plastic or metal and it does what they say it does its not to abrasive like people say and it cleans and removes the yellow and cloudiness easy i dont want to wet sand because that takes to long when i charge 20 a car so this is quick and easy for me to use and i think it works perfect plus it polishes metal
I bought the Flitz Polish and a buffer ball at the Cal State Fair. Working on a 1997 Ford Econoline (Class C Coachmen) headlight lens. I followed the instructions starting with sanding the clear coat paint off the plastic lens. Then using the buffing ball as directed.
About 10 minutes later I was done and the plastic lens was clear again although a slight tan tinge remains.
Most all? plastic headlight lens have a clear coat of paint. Even worked on my 99 Dakota and there the coating was.
I just tired this product on severely cloudy lights. the UV coating on them wasalready destroyed near the top of the headlight reducing light output severely.
After many applications of the paste (after using the supplied steel wool pad & water), the hazing did not come out to show any dramatic improvement. I would not recommend this product to anyone looking to clean up their oxidized headlights.

@Nibbie49 not a single period or comma ... "to abrasive", "to wet" ... That should be too.

This is an abrasive product that works well with metal,
I would not recommend using this product on plastic headlights.

Flitz, good on metal, not so good on plastic.
