Cool! I haven't been aware of this vid before I farmed for motes, so I had to find this out on my own. Basically I just scanned (with my eyes) the treasure part of Split's FAQ and found which motes were available before the Palace, then found their location through trial and error. I see our methods are the same, did you figure it out the same way?
hehe! just the thought of farming motes. That's all. but I found my patience, and having fun now. Im in Tomb of Raithwall now. Demon wall seems impossible. :O
Cool. :D You got me worried there. ^ ^ You mean the first or the second demon wall? Power up Traveler to the max. :) That will take of about 40% of the first demon wall. :) If I remember correctly. :) I did it after I recorded my first Demon Wall fight. :) I am sure you though of traveler already but. After that Idk what to use solo. :(
I mean the boss demon wall. :) The problem, lvl 1 vaan just doesnt have enough LP to learn traveler (65 LP). And I need to learn early abilities to survive. So that'll cut my LP again. :( But dont worry, I just beat it on the TV. Now if I can only beat it on the computer. >:O
Oh ok. :) You can always chain chickatrice like I do in my 122333. :) May be like 100 times harder before you have better equipment but after Jahara (where I am now) I do it solo no problem. :) I have gotten about 3000 LP from Chickatrice now. :) Check out part 16 I just uploaded it. :) Good luck in this challenge further. :)
oh lol i thought you did bosses solo? lol i jkin u have to use reserves one time or another. i did that to beat zeromus. got rid of his last hp with quickenings cos my main party died and i had no phoenix downs so i just had to use my quickenings and kiked his ass. well good luck with the challenge anyway
For that I need Balthier and Fran with Vaan to gain exp. That's the reason it's called an "Almost Solo". And use my reserves to help Vaan collect LP. But I will use ONLY Vaan in boss battles. :)

on giza plains, theres a chest that drops on 100% chance a red fang =) theres 2 hyenas and 1 alpha hyena

ya also, there is like no point in fangs, most bosses and mini-bosses r immune to them

yea and they got a big dmg scaling, like 3000-6000, motes hit always like ~20+ or -

Actually, I have a guide for FFXII. I used this to locate the motes. Also, had some help from Ashe10. :)

If you can get a Warp Mote, then you can use that.
