@chetwolfhowler i see what youre trying to say, but in my opinion the humorous aspect is a longstanding blues/jazz tradition ala screamin jay hawkins totally freaking out, robert johnson calling himself mr johnson, slim gaillard of slim and slam making up his own language or singing "laughing in rhythm", stuff smith playing the i'se a muggin musical numbers game" or singin about reefer... and then theres chuck berry, who is full of schtick making weird faces and strutting around the stage or hu
