When you have made the map, copy it from documents\my games\company of heroes\ww2\scenarios, and then paste it into \Program Files (x86)\(see below)\company of heroes\WW2\archives. After Program Files (x86) it depends on whether you got it from Steam or not.

I'm having a bit of trouble. Everything was going fine until i got to the stage of creating territories. When i press on the ter button my interface is different (Its missing the lines to the hq) I ingored this and and pressed on calculate voronio as instructed. Then i pressed on toggle overlay but when pressed it the floor turned black. Can anyone help

Hi! Just a quick question... I've been trying desperately to make a map on World Builder, though my machine is having a problem with the high level of graphics involved... Everything goes blocky. Buildings, bridges etc are fine, just splines and tiles that are the problem. How do you turn the detail level down so I can see everythig how I have laid it? The option (for some strange reason) is always grey and unselectable in the menu BUDGET/DETAIL LEVEL... Pleeeeease help!

hi just wondering where the bunkers,mortar bunkers and panther turns are located. this map maker seems very complex and detailed, im going to spend a lot of time learning how to use it before i can make the maps i want to.if i use the other option for making maps, what kinds of weather and texture do they have? i was thinking of making a snow map, and a desert map. lastly is their any way of play testing the map with out uploading it to my game?

@178thbattlegroup also i added some vehicles and infantry but when i load the map the vehicles and infantry are glitched. their is a little pink box where the unit picture should be. no buttons on the command panel and i have to individually select them they cant be drag selected and added to control groups.. any idea why this is happening and how to fix it?

@verack22 Go to "Overlay --> Draw Overlay Map --> Draw Sector map", then you can press Toggle Overlay to show or hide the territories.

Hi oneilc818. First of all THX for this great tutorials, i learned a lot of them. Hey i would like to ask you something, maybe you can help me. I am not a pro at this game and that why i play with an other friend against the AI (or bot). Now i made a own map but i have no ide how to make the bot to attack us o capture the control points. Are there some waypoint to set or something? Or is it impossible to play against bots??? Thx for your help :)

@eltercermillonario I'm not 100% sure about this because they might have changed things since I last used the WB, but you can add priority points (High, Medium, Low) that will guide the AI through the level. Try Googleing a tutorial on how to add them.

Last time ive added one Bridge by mistake.(WB-Bug ??) U can add a "wrecked_bridge" ,klick on EditState, klick on "Add" The DCAStatus appears wich shows :bridge.Klick ok.Ok again and u have a "neutral" Object. Be sure the Position is right before u do that :-D.cause u can only delete them by console....wich i have learned just yesterday ;-).may it works

Hey, I dont know if anyone have solved your problems on saving, but on my Vista 64 I have to run the worldbuilder as adminstrator, right click on the worldbuilder.exe and click run as adminstrator and when you save it should save with no problems if you follow his instructions right on naming the savegame (=

hmm idk about your friend not being able to play it, but the advanced sga packaging tutorial might help. about the mines, try not placing them with the spline tool. it might disrupt collision, or simply negate its explosive properties, because it thinks its something like a texture? anyway your best bet it to simply place some with the objects tool and copy and paste repetiatly

thats what the save as should be, to compile your map into one file use file/export package.

Firekid1480, I don't map with CoH anymore so I'm not sure but when mapping in the Source SDK if you add spaces to your map's name you will get an error when trying to run the map. If anyone knows if this is incorrect let me know so I can delete this.

Well, possibly you are placing the wrong thing, or you have not generated territories, or you didn't properly designate the starting and/or the entry points to each of the players. Maybe you have and extra starting/entry point placed somewhere?

i have the solution. ok follow these steps...

yell as loud as you can "fucking work you piece of shit give me back my maps" give the computer 10 seconds, if it does not give you your maps start attacking the keyboard then start kicking the computer... if this does not work i suggest folowing the path that it saved in or get pissed with relic.

2. How can you make troops start out in buildings?

3. Whenever I try to save a map, it says that "You need 2 or more starting points controlled by different teams" or something.

Hey guys,

i got a problem with making the teritorries.

I build a starting_position and map_entry_point owned by player n. 1, the same for player number 2.

Then I add manpower_resource_point, fuel and munition points where I set the player assigment to world.

Then I go to the TAR and ... I don't have the 2 HQs joined like the guy in the video had and when I click calculate nothing happens. Then I click Toggle overlay and the only thing I see are gray squares (like chessboard).

Yes,  once you put it there you go to your CoH shortcut and right click it, select properties and then at end of target add -dev instead of whats there.

first create an new folder in c: Company of heroes>WW2>Data>Scenarios and name the folder mp

save the new map in this folder

Then add -dev tot the shortcut (it will be"C:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes\RelicCOH.exe" -dev) then when you start COH you wil see the map

First you open your THQ map. Then you go to Company of Heroes, then you go WW2, then Data, then Scenarios, and in there you create a map called MP, then you save the maps there, the you can play.

C:\Program\THQ\Company of Heroes\WW2\Data\Scenarios\MP (save map here)

i tryed to save it to the arcives and it said it was outside mapediting data, or something like that so i tryed saving it in a .sga format and it wouldn't open, i am confused....the maps i made awile ago worked, but now after i export the maps it doesn't appear on the skirmish thing in the game i don't get it!

have you created a folder in Scenareo called MP? if you havent save your maps into that folder and then click export package, it worked for me, goodluck :)
