both great boxers, yes its a shame the didn't fight a few years earlier, but I don't thiknk anyone could be confident who would win, Roy is one of the all time greats but Joe had a way of out working anyone he fought. Roy never fought anyone as fast or hard working as joe, even with both in their prime it would have been close.

I'm not sure why Calzaghe didn't fight RJJ or Hopkins in the late 90's, but it never happened. I don't think Calzaghe had any name recognition during the late 90's. I didn't know who he was until he trashed Jeff Lacy. I contend that Calzaghe was past his prime when he fought RJJ and B-Hop.
