@mrgori131 if you are using an electric tuner, make sure that it's set to standard-tuning and not to another way like drop-d or so.. if it is set to standard tuning it will sound the same as his..

if you have the korg ga tuner for instance make sure that there is no "b" (or "bbbbb" or similar) on the left side of the display.. if it is, then press the "flat" button until there is none and re-tune your guitar

Yeah this guy is the best. I have all these chords down but on the A chord I can never mute the top string and have the chord sound clear so I just go without muting it and hope that I don't accidentally hit the top string.

ive bin watching these vids for a while now and honestly thank you i have improved so much at first it would hurt my fingers to hold down chords and some strings would be muted because i didnt arch my fingers proparly also the previous lesson i can do very fast now so for all the other beginners out there i have been playing for a year now and im half decent so dont give up because it does get tough as i have found out =D

ive been playing for two months. don't get down it took me up until now to completly get good at chords. you have to build finger strength to play. so it will take a while

On the part with the A chord I always found it easier just to hold all of them down with my pointer finger.(It's called barring) This way you can use your other fingers for different variations. It takes some getting used to though, especially because you have to keep the bottom string open but, it's a lot more beneficial in the long run to bar the note as opposed to using all your fingers.
