Does anybody else get the impression that Pokemon was supposed to end after the Johto saga, much like DBZ was supposed to end after the Frieza saga? I mean, in G/S and remakes HG/SS, you fight Red himself at the very end. That just screams "the battle to end all battles" to me.

He seems like a retard because the Pokemon Company's makes him look stupid whenever he's in the League Challenge and loses near the finals when Ash is actually one of the most talented trainers ever. Created the Burning Battlefield situation to trap Blastoise who had the type-advantage and in Sinnoh, created the Counter-Shield technique that both blocks attacks and damages the oppponent's Pokemon.

First Ash never did give ALL of his strong pokemon away, he just never brings them to new regions unless he decides he needs them. Do you recognize that Brock does the same, never brings his pokemon from one region to another.

Second reason I can't agree, upon reaching Unova, Pikachu was blasted by Zekrom's thunderbolt and lost its' electrical powers making it basically weak to any opponent.

From second argument, any trainer will lose to an opponent who uses pokemon and their moves that are unknown to the player. Really I lost in a battle and my team had a higher level advantage and a type advantage over my opponent's team.

Third argument is that as I mentioned before the Pokemon Company makes Ash lose although he could actually beat the life out of his opponents. He beat Paul and Gary who in the League each gave him the challenge like none before.

Fourth reason why you don't make sense, Ash didn't use cheats to capture all the starters since he didn't have all the starters.

Well it is tough: Outrage, Hyper beam, Thunder, Blizzard (Fire blast is another attack for one of his non-fire types). It took out my Lvl 54 Steelix with a one-hit critical Hyper Beam! What does that tell you about physical power?!

_Reasons why anime ash fails_

1: he used to want to catch pokemon left and right to become a better trainer. now he is just lazy and stupid.

2: He never wins major league tournaments. battle frontier and the oranger league are just minor ones imo. this problem is mostly due to the creators trying to make ash look like a weakling. i betcha the season one gary is the president).

3: Legendaries practically beg him to catch them despite being so rare and he is stupid enough to not take that chance.
