  • You have beautiful skin.

  • so will cetaphil hurt your eyes when you are taking off eyemakeup?

  • @corgiluver26 No. It's very gentle.

  • DO NOT waste your money on the Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser. It is a load of bullshit. It claims to be a "gentle" cleanser... but you all really need to take a look at the ingredients.

Cetaphil contains Propylene Glycol, which is similar to mineral oil and aggravates eczema. which totally contradicts the whole point of this cleanser.

it also contains, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate.. which is a highly irritant detergent that is rumored to cause cancer.

Not to mention all the parabens it contains!

  • @misswickedlylovely What do you recommend then?

  • @misswickedlylovely I wish I had seen this comment b4 i bought it. Do you have any suggestions for a good facial cleanser?

  • LAWD. 48$ ?

  • You have beautiful skin girl!

  • What is the color and name brand of the nail polish in this video? Very cute, soft color!!!

  • @crileyhome

The color is called "Metro Chic." The brand is Sephora by O.P.I.

  • Haha you're country .. where are you from?

  • I have to admitt, I never been attracted to Black Girls, but You're one of the prettiest one I ever seen on Youtube next to rihanna. <3

  • @MultiJasonic

    Thank you for the compliment!!!

  • @MultiJasonic lmaoooooo are you serious, this chick looks like a man

  • clean ma face ma skin i oh know- we in da hood now

  • For the acne routine (Solugel, Stieveamycin) that I use, The Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser is gentle, it doesn't break me out, and I always come back to it! I always feel that I need suds (the one that does-Facial Skin Cleanser) I do not like that one! Oh I also use Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask (it has sulfur) and St. Ives Microdermabrasion (gentle, not like grainy scrubs). I have found my routine after Murad, Proactiv, and many other things! Grade 2 acne is what I was dealing with!

  • @Sharellyo

A TON of people seem to like the Queen Helen mask. I really want to try it, but I'm too afraid. I don't want to have a bad reaction to it. Thanks for commenting!

  • For body wash use Dove Sensitive Skin, I have extremely sensitive skin like you and I was recommended this by my doctors, I love it

  • @ajk2191991

I'll have to look for that in the store. It sounds nice, so I'm gonna try it. Thanks!

  • I have a general question, whats the difference between facial lotion and facial moisturizer?

  • @FoolishInTheEnd

I'm not an expert, but in my personal opinion, I find that most people use the two terms interchangeably. So...I see little if any difference between the two.

  • I used an Aveeno face cleanser and my cheeks turned bright red after I used it and it burned!! Is that normal??

    I use Cetaphil now....

  • @MACstar17

It sounds like the cleanser aggravated your skin because it was too harsh. I wouldn't advise using anything that burns your skin.

  • Very helpful! Thanks for posting, heading straight to CVS to get cetaphil face wash!!!

  • Does the purity or cetaphil control your breakouts? I have mild acne only on my chin area and I wanted to know what over the counter product works well......Thanx for the review!

  • @StarrQuality1

I don't think that either helps control my breakouts. I feel like they cleanse my skin equally well, but they don't help my skin stay clear. The only thing that controls my breakouts is prescription medication. I tried over the counter stuff for years and nothing worked, so I eventually decided to see a dermatologist. For whiteheads, I find that the Mario Badescu drying lotion works well for me.

  • @StarrQuality1 ...it helped control mine...if that means anything

  • stop using Cetaphil, i used it for years thinking it was safe, it's not. It contains 3 types of PARABENS=hormone imbalance and potential cancer/tumors. Not worth the health risk. Check ingredients. I went through 5 bottles of this shit and it makes me puke knowing i rubbed parabens all over my face, they are phasing out parabens because of possible health risks.

  • @flarbton

What cleanser do you use now?

  • ccoool what about scars

  • @pinksaphire100

I don't have any scars on my face, so I'm not sure if it helps acne scarring or anything like that. Sorry I couldn't answer your question :(

  • i like dial 2 gurl thats the only soap i use the entire line of soaps

  • wat cleared ur skin

  • @pinksaphire100

Benzacline and Retin-A, but both of those require a prescription from your dermatologist.

  • your skin looks perfect in this video! Love your accent too

  • i just started using benzaclin... i've been using it twice a day (morning and night) for the last week. i'm really hoping it works!!

  • @liketotallysick

It should definitely make a positive difference. My prescription changed about five times before I got close to perfect results.

  • you have beautiful skin!

  • Thank you! My acne medication really deserves all the credit! :)

  • Cetaphil breaks me out badly, I had to stop using it and it's just sitting on my desk lol. I may try Purity. Great video!

  • That sucks! I've never heard of Cetaphil breaking anyone out. I hope you have better luck with the Purity.

  • my friend & you are in the same boat. she likes cetaphil too. i'll have to try it. i consider myself to have normal skin and don't suffer from acne, but something for sensitve skin couldn't hurt. now i'm almost done using my 1st try of aveeno clear complexion cream cleanser. i love it, but i like to try different things so i can have a stable rotation of 2-3 items, so i don't become immune to anything and in the event something isn't in stock somewhere, i'll have a safe back-up.
