Beautiful PCC's. I so love trolley & LRV/Tram service... So reliable, they inspire economic growth along their routes, and perform well in bad weather... The city has some dormant lines that should be brought back into service.. Actually, Philadelphia is sitting on a GOLD MINE and doesn't even know it... shame

@timosha21 It's the green PCCs of Route 15, but they're on an excursion through University City. The "Shave and a Haircut" tune on the bell gets a little bit old after a while, I think ringing it once or twice would have been enough.

How old are this bus carts?

They are from 1947, but were rebuilt in 2003. Wheelchair lifts, air conditioning, and new seats were some of the things added.

Yeah sorry I read that somewhere and to me they look more modern then the old PCC's but yeah you were right. And they nwere delivered to Septa in 2004 after the rebuild
