Well I had absolutely no problem whatsoever to put the parts together!! I mean, it was very clear which part has to be played in which phase, if you know the song at all.... Though this seemed like such a simple song that I will probably get bored very quickly with playing it. :D But thanks anyway! :)

It's not a matter of right or wrong. This is based on the original version by Snow Patrol not Leona Lewis. The Snow Patrol version has no piano in it and therefore the way I play it is the way I interpret the song. I'm sure there are a hundred other ways to play it.

I'm very familiar with the song and have sang it probably hundreds of times on stage. My problem is trying to piece what you give us together.

For what it's worth, I just showed this video to a friend who says the intro, chorus and solo are fine, but the vereses aren't there.

You may disagree, I dont know myself... but that would explain the problem I was having.

In the description I explain that you have to listen to the original song to figure out what goes where. I also mention it several times during the tutorial. Of course you can't get the lyrics to match! You have to play the chords for 6 bars and then the phrase for 2 in the verse but forget about that! Listen to the original song a couple of times and it will all make sense after that!!

Can you elaborate a little on what you mean? Are you having trouble singing in the right tone or is it that you can't get the tempo to match? Keep in mind that this is based on Snow Patrol's original version and not the one performed by Leona Lewis. I'll be glad to post a video along with the singing if you are still having trouble...

Actually, I agree.

I also had trouble trying to sing along to it, I was trying to sing whilst you played finish the introduction, but the tempo/tune doesn't seem to fit. I was trying to sing to Snow Patrol's version.

By the way, also, in the actual song, do they actually repeat this same piano piece?
