I miss those days. I watch FOX exclusively now, but I remember a time when CBS was nearlt the gospel truth with the news. Having 20 minutes of commercials and 10 minutes of news is probably the BIGGEST killer of honesty on TV. Barely enough time to even give a headline. Miss Connie was toe to toe with the best of the guys though...and a babe! Crying shame how the industry treated her....a bit overreaction. Im an old guy from Georgia....hehe.. if you remember how Miss Connie was treated.

According to GCN radio host Mike Rivero, the network fired her because she asked hard questions to the fire department when she covered the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing. She raised legitamate suspicions in her questions as to why fire trucks were situated around the Federal building before the explosions occurred.
