I have an 07 double cab 6spd with, afe cai, poweraid tb spacer, v-force plus module and catback. It does pretty good, smoked an ls swapped civic coupe the day after tb spacer install. Don't have any numbers though
Not going to be able to change the limiter without an APR X-1 or an ECU-2 system I believe it's called. Both you can tune to get peak performance, change rev limiter, and remove speed limiter. But they are really expensive. Your trap speed for a quarter mile is going to be way under 110 anyway so there really isn't any point.
BTW... My 0-60 6.2 w/o headers and 5.9 with headers. One of the fastest N/A tacomas that I know of. NOT THE FASTEST, but one of.
Thanks for the heads up, this truck was intended to be just the winter vehicle, but I still don't have a summer car yet, so I find myself being a little hard on the truck. So unless Ive got the extra money, the truck is going to remain somewhat stock.
You obviously don't know tacomas because they don't make racing chips for tacomas. And aftermarket cams would be super expensive and would need forged rodes too
Sorry man, for some reason my computer wouldn't let me reply, or I'm just an idiot, but I just figured out that I can reply from my iPhone real easy so, it is a v6 with intake and exhaust.
The Tacoma only goes up to 110mph, then shuts down, still working on changing that, I have a k and n cold air intake and a flowmaster muffler, not alot, but I did one of those gforce test things and said that I was at about 250hp, and from the factory they claim to have 265hp, but that's at the crank, and my friends tranny went out on him a couple of months after we filmed this, so his trans might have been slipping spittle bit, but I'm not sure.
what was the top speed you were doing? i would have been doing about 130mph by now in my LS, 0-60 from a tacoma is 7secs acording to some sites i googled, the LS is around 6.2- 6.6. is you'res souped up? dont get those in the UK. so cant have a go in one myself. good thing i have over you guys in the states is my V8is up against puny 2.0 straight 4s most of the time, so i have a lot of fun.

It's just a flowmaster 40 series muffler. Nothing special. Full exhaust systems are exspensive.

It's the access cab, trd sport, so its 2 door but it has those small suicide doors.

Yea thats a good idea. Pick up a URD MAF Sensor Cal. They will allow you to get peak performance out of your intake and exhaust.
