I was hoping to speed up the dev cycle by leveraging some built-in features of MMF, but it looks like a lot of the functionality will be either coded by hand or has already been outsourced from the main editor itself (map loading, some behavior scripts). On the plus side, this makes future porting to C++ or another language much easier. This is a path similar to one that a number of developers have taken, but I think that this game outgrew its roots rather quickly :x
@nobuyukinyuu, this is great ! I tried making a game with MMF but I failed at it ... But I am going to learn C# just to get in to game development. What will be the game's theme ?
@WestDrake the game's theme is an oldschool hack and slash "return to the roots". For people who were fans of old games like Crystalis, original TLoZ, LTTP, soul blazer, Ys and the like.
