The amp is a cool idea. Don't really see the point in the ipod recharger since a rechargeable battery backup would be better. Survival kit is awesome. you could probably make a portable stove out of one too.

@DrewskiTheLegend i have made an altoid portable stove. i use yellow insulation that you would wrap your pipes with so they don't freeze. just cut strips big enough to fit in the tin and then i use either alcohol 90% rubbing type, or HEET that is in the yellow bottle for fuel.  all you need after that is a pot stand.
