  • shalalallaallala :)

  • This is sooooo cool!!! The Mills Brothers Rock!

  • My dad had the ep with Smack Dab In The Middle. I have not heard their version in many years. Brilliant!

    Thanks.

  • Excellent , as they always were no matter what genre they were singing !

  • The Mills Brothers are perfection..and I'm a child of the '60's

  • haha i sent this to my brother cuz he hasn't had a job for like ever and he's 22. and long story short we haven't talked in like 3 months. lol he called the other day and was like lemme talk to mom i said wats up he said lemme talk to mom. i jus laughed

  • it´s the best from all

  • This is my favourite Mills Bros. song, a Jesse Stone compositon named "SMACK DAB IN THE MIDDLE". You can hear also this song by Jesse Stone himself, Ray Charles and more recent by Ry Cooder, but no one of these can beat Mills Bros. one. Greetings from Spain.

  • I love how you did that collage of music. I have the Basie album they did in 1967. If I'm mistaken they were easy to work for, since they got the job done in one take?

They have a very good sound.

  • This is not the correct master of this Mills Brothers 45. The lead vocal is missing. Hope that someday Universal Music will get the correct master on CD!!!

  • However there are other videos on youtube with the correct version.... even decided to post one myself after seeing your comment.

  • The master probably burned along with the entire Decca, Dot, ABC, Paramount, etc. master archive in the Universal Studio Fire last June.

  • good song

  • Many groups of the doo wop era credit the phrasing and the harmonies of the Mills Brothers for getting them interested in singing. If the Mills Brothers would have gone in that direction (instead of pop and big band) it is likely they would have been on equal footing in the rock and roll era with the Drifters and the Platters. Cab Driver, for example, was a big R&R hit for them some years after they had reached their prime. What a great versatile and outstanding group!

  • The Mills Brothers are in the Groove! ! !

Feet don't fail me now, I may have to get out the Geritol, can't help but want to dance....

  • Great tunes! Love the Mills Brothers!

    Thanks!

  • WOW! I'd never heard these before. Groovy!

    Go Cats Go!!!
