Bush sr KNEW what a mess it would be if he removed Saddam which is why he didnt . McCain's support is at 45%, despite the fact he is clueless and wants to continue the Iraq war. He simply has to say that he will end the Iraq war and bingo he wins the election. He could say it's not a flip-flop but he just changed his mind because conditions on the ground are improving and the Generals said it was okay to start pulling out - most Americans have no clue so this will be acceptable. We have too many Americans with the IQ of George Bush, so don't be surprised if McCain wins.

i googled "veterans against" and the first seven or so results were either "veterans against mccain" or "veterans against the war." "veterans against obama" was like number 8 and i didn't even see a "veterans against clinton."
