I myself have a sour taste of common Christianity from my upbringing, but despite, and in spite of that I have come to realize the Bible is very profound, though you have to take it with a grain of salt, so to speak, in order to grasp its full potential.. its probably simpler to ask what DOESNT have to do with this.

I agree with Hoagland about the secrecy stuff. Its kinda like 2 people having cancer. The chosen one gets the cure but the one that isnt chosen doesnt get the cure. Only a few get to zip around in Mach 10, sublight crafts, others do not. But there is probably a reason they hide it from the masses rather than just greed. Maybe it is for safety as well.
