  • dude why u talkin so weird, it's creepy.

  • weeweewee punt rabobankwielerteam punt teekaa

  • Not knowing anything about the race I had to look it up. It sounds pretty impressive. Thanks for filming a bit of it for us.

  • Lance Armstrong was once second here. Most foreigners find it horrible, cause the stretch is like a cakewalk, with many obstacles like parked card, traffic constructions, and you never know in which direction the road goes.

I don't think they mind the climbs that much, but it is a nervous race, and you need to be in front most of the time.

  • calling it a cakewalk would mean it is very very easy. Still, you are so right, I think its a very interesting/fun race to watch for these reasons

  • I really enjoyed this... Thanks for posting it!

  • Aaah that makes me very glad! You could actually see me film the first bit on tv, from a helicopter shot. Haha perhaps I post it in a future video, somehow ;)

  • hahaha COOL!!

  • Nice coverage. Thanks for posting, Juan. I read that Schumacher made the decisive move on the Eyserbosweg, it must have been farther up the berg. I'll look for you on TV tomorrow.

  • I am not to be seen on there, I was too high in the shot ;) Well, Schumacher did that yes, but he was lucky to win, cause no one would want to waste energy chasing him, that's how the classics are decided nowadays. I just watched it in total, the race, and it was almost without highlights. They need to redesign the stretch, which they never will do.

  • Yeah and indeed the decision was made inside the forest, and I stood on the edge of it. And inside the forest is, where the road is very very steep.

But I'd focus more in having a different buildup, skipping some parts, and inserting others that never make the cut. And you see, 33 hills and nothing decided, so, you shouldn't be looking in quantity.

  • I'm sure with Bettini, Di Luca, Valverde, and Rebellin at the front Schumacher was the last guy they were worried about. It worked out well for Gerolsteiner but not so well for "Trebellin".

  • Yeah he had 12 stitches in his leg, his mother didn't want him to start, that story I heard 12 times. They just fooled them all. And Boogerd isn't a smart rider at all in a final. DiLuca, Valverde and Rebellin are the fastest hill finishers of today, I hope to see them on wednesday and Sunday again in the Belgian Ardennes.

  • I loved it lol...Im shocked no one wrecked that close together. And how the hell do the cars not get in the way?

  • Haha well some riders crash into motors, others into traffic obstacles, but they are skilled to ride very close together, even with 60 mph. But I agree, it's a chaotic circus!

  • Nice race commentary. Very thorough.

  • Haha thank you very much, I just imitated some Dutch reporter a bit, but it is amazing how little you can say in such a time. Nevertheless, a nice thing to try :)

  • Okay, it's YOU TUBE that made this fine quality video blocky. Nothing wrong in my final version.

But you know the drill, YouTube renders your video into a consumer's Flash product and then, brilliant colours from outside cannot be handled.

    Bah!

  • And because the image is blocky, the titles get automatically blurry. And those crappy webcam videos from the winter inside, yeah, of course, youtube handles those brilliantly. Schmucks!

  • Well, at least you can upload. I've been trying for three days - But after I finish uploading, it asks me to edit my Ice Sculpture video's details. Argh ! No response from YouTube yet - Guess it'll come on Monday.

  • Yeah I had that too one time, hummm. They keep on having bug after bug after bug. It's a hopeless battle!

  • I just hope they can fix it soon because i'm going to be doing lots of filming, starting at the end of this month.
