  • hair looks great!! just wondering what braid pattern you used? because i loove how the middle part looks natural and doesnt do too far back on the top.

  • @0hSoGo0d Thanks! :-)I braided my hair straight back but before I did the braids straight back I parted my hair the way i wanted it to be... braided the sides and then when i got to the middle part braided the two braids and connected the two into one where I wanted the part to stop.. that way it looked more natural

  • how many packs do you use?

  • @shadet541 I use 3 packs so I always buy 4 just in case

  • Wow, these look very nicely done! Thanks for showing the top part, I was really wondering how the crown looked. I remember wearing crochets back in the day and hating how bulky the top looked with the knots. Yours looks good though, I might try this today! What kind of gel do you recommend?

  • thank u for the tips..i just did mine yesterday for the first time using blkbfly method but i noticed after i finished it would get loose. i put a little glue on some of them ..i dont really want to continue the glue process though..lol but to make a long story short what type of activator gel do u use and do u apply to the whole strand of hair or just the middle part

  • thank you so much for taking the time for answering my question i let you know how it goes thanks again be blessed :)

  • this looks so nice i really want to rock these and i started my hair but the hair are kinda coming loose how do you tie the knot in once you have pulled the hair through the loop cause mine keeps coming undone and i still have the back of my hair to do any help on how you did your so lovely would really be appreciated. tips on hand place ments i doing my own hair also thanks again :)

  • thank u... well what I do is put some activator gel on each strand before crocheting it in.. then once i put it in I tie it 4 times as tight as I can... Mine has yet to come down as long as you dont mess with ur hair alot it should not unravel if you crocheted it in correctly.. make sure the strand is underneath the cornrow and u tie it tight

  • nice, crochet braids helped my hair to grow to its max. I need to go back to it.

  • Your hair looks amazing!!!! What brand of hair did you use. Thanks

  • freetress water wave

  • Luv your hair soRHOr! I luv crochet braids. I have them in my hair right now.

  • Thanks soRHOr!! Yes yes I love them too. Thank u for watchin :-)

  • Do you ever have a problem with the braids coming undone? I followed bkbuttafly's tutorial and my style came out looking so good but after a few days, they started coming undone. so I ended up going back to each piece and braiding it down a little like a micro and put glue on each one to secure....ended up lasting for a few months after that. It still looked good when I took it down...just needed a perm. How do you keep your from unraveling?

  • No mam I never have a problem with them coming undone. When I put the hair in I just make sure to tie it off really tight like 3 times.. plus before I put the hair strand in I get some activator gel and put it on the hair.. I have come to find out if you put activator gel on the hair before u put it in it keeps it from gettin too frizzy and it stays in as long as u want... I usually dont take them down till after 2 months and none have ever came undone :)

  • These look good on you :)

  • Thank you!! :)
