But you are severely under rating the rest of the team. Rasheed was huge during the Finals and Rip was more clutch than Chauncey in this series and especially the Nets series. Yes, Chauncey was clutch, he hit a half court shot to put it into overtime against the Nets but we lost that game. Out of the games we won Rip was hitting the toughest shots out of the bunch.

Chauncey was a huge part of that success but he wasnt the lone reason nor was he the lone go to guy. All those years it has always been a team effort. Maybe after Ben left, it became more of Chauncey's team but then again, it shows what he did with that team once it was his...and that was never going back to a NBA Finals.
