These head sets are evil, reason i state this is when you add turtle beaches sound processor to these head sets you get evil.

When i played battlefield each time i shot a round from gun the head sets exploded vibrating after ten minutes my face almost was tingling and wow. it's like seeing people driving around in those nissan skylines with music loud in those head sets while turtle beach sound prcessors culprit they are good head sets.

Logitech G930 has virtual sound....

And siberia has sepcial features but the microphone aint decent at all.... I bought mine in august and already had to send it to the shop 4 times... got a new one every time. Just because after a while the microphone refuse to record any sound at all... without any reason....but the weight is good and comfort to.

Lets get one thing straight the more neutral/transparent a set of headphones is the better it is at BOTH things. If it enhances the sound of footsteps it because its coloured and add more information to that spectrum which is wrong. You enhance sound and thus break what the musician or game maker want you to hear.

What headphones do is make sound from an electric signal and the headphones do this and we can measure it. The more flat this measurement is the more transparent it is. And to cut things short this is what you want, it means that it will be good at everything not at just voice or just hiphop, everything.

You want the more flat frequency measurement because that means the sound of a game, movie, song or voice will produce the way its intended. Without EQ and so on. Add things like "I hear footsteps better in these." means that they are colored. Meaning they measure poorly over a piece of the spectrum.

None of these headsets are any good at all, surround sound headsets are a fucking joke, I would know, I'm wearing a set of Megalodons right now. If you want a quality pair of cans for gaming, your best choice is either the Sennheiser PC 360, or Audio Technica AD700's/desktop mic. Razer, Steelseries, Roccat, Logitech, whatever, they're all a gimmick.

logitech g930 has got to be the most amazing headset i have ever used. It is quite expensive but it is incredible! the range is quite long, the sound quality is fricken amazing, the bass is incredible and the 7.1 surround sound works fantastic! It has about 9-10 fully charged and takes about 2 hours to recharge the whole thing. it can not recharge while the pc is off. but you can recharge it while playing. i strongly advise you to get this beauty! it is totally worth it!
