The more I find out, the less appropriate I think it is to have "disorder" as part of the name for this condition. It's typically developed as a coping mechanism when a child is traumatised in some way, especially if it's on a regular basis. As it clearly helps the child to cope at that time in their life, I simply can't see how it's a problem. What I find most disturbing is that nobody picked up on what was happening to this woman as a child. Behavioural issues aren't the only sign of abuse.

One common misunderstanding about DID is about the healing. Most believe that integration is necessary for all cases.
There are many cases in which people with DID have adjusted so well that integration would be counter-productive and the person would have to learn all over again how to adjust to life with this "new" way of being.
@singasongful1 Many of us don't see it as an illness but simply a different way of thinking. Many of us have adapted and adjusted fine with personal and public life and it's not scary or confusing.
I can imagine how a singleton or an undiagnosed multiple can find it scary, but most of us do ok.
@mosaixify it's up to the individual to decide what they want to do before they day. to me mental sanity, seeing thought as thought, unconditioning, disembedding, is more valuable than the so called happiness (that's to throw out out negative stuff).
@mosaixify (i wrote day but meant die). You said you were doing fine with DID implying that you wouldn't pursue the road of integration if that was possible. I didn't agree.
@ilovehayley89 Do us all a favor - shove your head back into that book written by delusional men and stay there.
MPD/DID is very real. Intragration is not an option for all, but it's good when it works. The feeling of "death" is very real for those that live with this.
0:30 "RITUAL" she was exposed to satanic ritual abuse, she said her father was "BUILDER" a Freemason, Freemasons are taught that having sex with children will make them live longer i.e. stealing their youth. They follow Aleister Crowley's teachings
@meeeeeeee8 Your comment should be the highest rated comment. I think the fact that it isn't shines a light on the psychological state of the masses that are turning this world into a truly mad place. Fantastic upload Stranger4000. Peace
MPD, or DID does NOT exist. The idea of multiple personality, is sensationalizing garbage; by fanatical, nutty psychiatrists, and spun off and capitalized on by Hollywood drama. Funny that not a single person has it, until some whack job psychologist, ( who also may believe that the client had babies with space aliens they ate, but forgot) tells the poor unsuspecting victim they have MPD. It's documented, that shrinks use hypnosis, drug overdose, brainwashing, food deprivation to convince.
Not everyone forgets. I know someone who witnessed her 3 year old sister being raped by her father; she was 4 years old. She then was abused by the father. She never forgot any of it.
North America is really the only place that this disorder is mainly prevalent. There are countries all over the world that deal with the same and if not more issues of abuse and other types of hardship that Americans do, yet Americans are the only ones that do this. Americans are definately not worse off than any other country and for anyone who actully feels sorry for these people, I think you should rethink your priorities and donate some money to overseas foundations for starving people.
@cammy9182 What a red herring, DID is found in MANY countries and cultures, just because one culture is experiencing a tragedy does not mean that others of another culture are not experiencing pain as well.
Stop bitching about non existent disorders and problems you have such as Anxiety, Depression, and ADD when you are actually healthy from upper middle class families.
This woman has experienced the true reality of hell and the psychiatric effects of trauma.
@ilovehayley89 it's a shame you feel this way. it's kind of like someone with cancer telling someone with AIDS, or vice versa, that they are "Actually healthy". I mean... eating disorders come to mind - highest death rate of any mental illness. I's not "worse", because I actually believe hell alive is maybe even worse than a high mortality rate. But who is someone experiencing one hell to qualify their experience as somehow more valid suffering than another person's hell that they can't know?
@ilovehayley89 I appreciate what you are trying to say, but you need to understand also that those things ARE real. My older brother grew up with depression. It is not a 'non existent disorder'. It is real, and it is frightening. It is painful to watch my older brother, my best friend, suffer from something like this. Before you start telling us what is real and not, get your information right. Stop talking like you 'know' everything, like you've suffered from it or seen it in someone you love.
@ilovehayley89 yeah ok anxiety, depression and ADD are all real. I have ADD and if you never had it DONT BITCH! how do you think it feels to have frequent shifts from one uncompleted activity to another? How do you think it feels to be forgetful every second of everyday, or even having trouble to pay attention to detail. I HATE people who say its not real and never have been in there shoes. People with ADD cant help it! And yes i am healthy and middle class but that doesnt mean ANYTHING!
Asian girl, mask, and people walking in crazy Outfits are triggers. Her earrings are questionable (symbols they use) as well as the many triggers in these clips and she's using "their" language. Sadly she is not free and is being without knowing. Psychiatrist and CIA man G.H. Estabrooks in his book HYPNOTISM (1957) claims discovering and CREATION of MPD/DID through traumatic torture. Also project paperclips, 1977 Congr. hearing on MKULTRA. Brice Taylor, Cathy O'Brien. G'd luck pass It on.
She speaks about divinity in herself, it's like saying that when she prays to God she sees her soul, or sees how God is in everyone of us, what does this have to do whit demons? Woul you like me to talk bad of your religion just becouse I'm an atheist? Can't you respect other people spirituality the least, or just not speak about it if you can't?
When you find the truth, you will find there is no separation between you and the divine. You just aren't normally conscious of this. You saying demon is a reflection of how you have been conditioned to react to such a statement. : Truth has no fear because it can be proven with facts. Lies cannot be proven and are created when someone fears you knowing the truth. Fear is based on lies. Lairs will make you fear the truth to protect their lie. BE WARY OF THOSE WHO ARE TRYING TO MAKE YOU FEAR.
These are clips from "Dialogues with Madwomen" -- how's that flattery for a name of a video? -- so they must have been switching between different vignettes of other women's lives. Obviously these clips about this woman are excerpts from the larger work. :)
It is a woman wearing outside standing on a blanket. She is wearing a skirt and holding a basket in one arm. The other arm is raised and her head is thrown back.
i had difeerent personalities but they all knew eachother and let go when a new one was created. only sometimes i cannot explain explicit behaviour like cutting and hurting myself, even though i would never do that, thats my old me.
now im a hippy-version of me and it brings me peace and clearness of all of the shit my dad brings.
lol i have a hipee version and i did the other things too it makes me laugh when you say the hipee version bc people said i had it i didn't believe it and one day when we shared time my sister mocked something I did and there the hippee you again I laughed bc we all saw it
it's amazing how much power our brains have over "us" that many people simply ignore isn't it? Of coure really our brains ARE us, because that's the only thing that really makes us different... but wow.
It's not as mad as you think it is. There are lots of cases when females hate their bodies/sex so much that they actually stop having periods altogether. It's also been proven that some women who spend a lot of time together, like friends etc, actually start having periods around the same time, even if their cycles were different before. It's sort of like when people are hypnotised to change their diet - their appetite changes and they don't want to eat as much. The mind is a weird thing ^^;
yeah i know that. but the fact that each personality has a different menstrual cycle. she must be ovulating all the time. its insane! yeah the human mind is a strange thing!
@NekoBeau the reason that women sometimes mestruate "in sync" is nothing to do with the mind. Often the girls and i at work will realise we all have our period at the same time! Or if i've been spending alot of time with my best friend we'll fall into sync. This is because of the pheromones that women secrete, much in the same way as a person sweats. women pick up eachothers pheromones and their bodies then respond! still pretty amazing. :)
interesting how the first case of MPD came from experiences of kissing a dead person at a funeral home (3 faces of Eve) all the way to the modern version where its possible to have even 25 personalities in one person.... so does more abuse/traumatic experiences mean more personalities?
not really...it was just her personal way of coping...making more each time.
personally i constructed a character/personality who was capable of dealing with any kind of abuse, or any negativity...she does it all :) she hates me though :(
yes people with mpd/did can have alters who have different eye sights! they also can have idfferent menstral cycles. Alot of it has to do with the abuse they endured!
You are correct. The personalities come together. They reassociate and integrate. But I thought a less semantically accurate similar explanation would be easier to understand.
The multiple identities (dissociative identities) are symptomatic of severe trauma. If they exist, it means that the person is suffering from severe trauma. They don't just spontaneously appear to make life interesting.
Yeah, it's really cool/fun when one of your personalities back talk your dad, and next thing you know you are all beaten and bloodied, and you have no idea why. I have no idea why anyone would see this as a good thing to have, offten it is physicaly worst to have them then if you didn't.
Why does every big sister hate their little siblings...she has to go through hell sometimes in order to protect me so i can sit quietly writing my books.
i think it would be a good thing if you had MPD but it is not caused by traumatic experiences. It would be like a way of organizing and filing your thoughts to optimize and specialize certain tasks. Sad that one package (MPD) comes with the other (abuse).
THe truth is people who develop DID from the trauma of their childhood were strong people to begin with. They had gifts that would have come out naturally if they had not been abused. DID is unfortunately a way to negate severe pain that was inescapable.
@Ricine That isn't always true. Some people who have/had DID aren't strong and are very broken and messed up. We only hear about the ones who are highly functioning, but there are also many with dissociative disorders who are very dysfunctional and unable to cope. Not necessarily because of the dissociation, but because of the abuses they've suffered. Dissociation may be a coping technique, but it isn't always enough.
@tas45123 if i'd developed multiple personalities... i wouldn't be the person i am today... that is to say... i wouldn't be an asshole. or at least as much of one...
i'm not going to get into my personal life...
but if there had been times that i could simply... revert to another personality... to deal with a situation... or a heartbreak... or a trauma... i wouldn't have become such a bipolar asshole. and then a sweetheart to someone else the next moment.
how is possible to have different mentsrual cycles and even eyesights just because you have different personalities? i dont see how its possible for the body to do that...
The body and mind are amazing things. Think iof it this way...how does the female body strach to accomidate a growing human. It changes. You mind changes a little two because in most cases it becomes less about you and more about this life that is gowing inside you. In the case of multiples whole other persons develope so that the person can deal with whatever has happened.
I wonder if she was a victim of satanic ritual abuse. And why she was lighting a red candle with a pentagram under.... I think she should look for a Bible reading praying church, and get rid of those demons that entered her . Then she will be healed completely.
I read the Bible, and all I do usually is be huffed at by its followers. Nobody wants to talk about it unless it serves them. Okay. And I was abused, not like that, and all I do is freak out when presented with certain stresses. Maybe she went too close to the water and one of the demons came out of it and into her stomach. I don't care, but I remember it, and it was real, but I can't say that without being crazy or sounding like a liar.
I go to a "bible reading" church and I have had a personal faith in God since I was six but I also suffer from DID. It is not demonds it is creative way of dealing with past abuse and God has created our mind in such an elaborate way that with such amazing coping mecanisms to survive such trauma
I dont know much but i know what the Bible says: He came to set the captives free. If you are in bondage Jesus can set you free. Have you forgiven your abusers?
true but we live in the now and the not yet and somtimes it takes time for people to recover from sever truma and abuse and until Jesus comes and unravels all of the truma and abuse it is a long road ahead for peple like myself with DID! I agree whole heartedly that He has come to set us free but well somtimes its in his own good timing! During the mean time all we can do is Praise Him in our situations and circumstances! With or without DID!
Wait... so she has all these personalitys, did she know at the time she had all of those or.... did she think she was only one person and didnt notice?? Did she remember anything og becoming another person?
Most of the time people with Dissociative Identity Disorder have these moments called "fugues" where they lose time, or black out while their personalities take over and do things. Then the original person wakes up and has no idea where they are or what they've been doing.
I totally get what this woman's saying, i was abused as a child and developed DID or MPD as a way of coping. I happen to find it scary because of not knowing whats going to happen, it's losing control and not having an idea of what you'll say or do.
I agree totally I have DID and I live in Australia once I went to bed and then the next thing I knew I found my self 2hrs drive away or 4hr by train. I was in my nightdress bare freet and a teddy bear standing at the train station. It was only when peolice came that I swiched alters and found out were I was. ITS FREAKY
I'm sorry but I just get so angry when I see things like this. When these sicko's do things to an innocent child, it screws them up for life. It's something, when the mind can do things like this to block out horrors. I am taking Psychology in college now. I am studying to go into early childhood development. I am facinated by Psychology and the human mind. After my courses in Childhood development I would like to take more Psychology classes.
I believe that anybody that hurts a child, shoud be took out and shot! We are brought into the world to be loved and taken care of. Not used and abused.
pidoism runs the world yall. Read: Transformation of America. "Spies are made not born" and just know the truth is wrapped up all around you even in fiction.
The book I suggest you read is not fiction although I wish it was.
I just found out I have MPD like a week ago. To me it's not as bad as I thought it would be. But that's just for me. I'm Courtney, but I'm also Alice, Dakota and Damien. That's as many as I know so far and I like them. When I get too stressed one of them takes over and it's really nice to have that pressure taken away.
There is something creepy about this. It is edited, in a non-cllinical way. it is like a mind game. Show an attractive girl who looks interesting, and then show a little kid dancing around. Then there is the guy's voice who is cut out. I am not sure I buy this, and I wonder who puts this on Youtube for what purpose. I don't know if I believe that you can switch identities and not recall who are you or were.
I agree. I do not know this dissociative disorder inside out but the research I have done shows that the 'host' generally goes into a headache like state and cannot remember anything during the time when the alter takes over..
Two things make me doubt this story: (1) she seemed to have a great deal of her knowledge of her "alters" before she started therapy, which sounds like these were "imaginary friends" or "roles" she was playing, and which her analyst convinced her were true "alters" (2) her "memory" of being raped by a "group" of aging pedophiles--that sounds very much like the "recovered memories" of satanic abuse.
how is it possible that this woman is able to control her brain and split it the way she says she has done to make the several personalities she has?? doesn't fit for me..
we all use about 10 - 15% of our full brain capacity. It's amazing what brain can do and we still know relatively very little about it. Psychology even has difficulty distinguishing between BRAIN and MIND. So, there are a lot of processes that go on that we are unaware of. Our brain can protect or harm us. It can make us believe that we're seeing green when it's yellow, that we see music and hear sights. She can't control it. She wishes she did....she's retelling what her therapist told her.
It's true that there's lots of things we don't know about the brain and the mind, but that "humans only use 10% of their brain" thing is a myth. Unless you have brain damage that prevents you from accessing every part of your brain, you use all of it. Just not all of it at the same time (ie; various memories will remain dormant until you're actually thinking about them, and washing the dishes requires different parts of your brain than playing the guitar.)
It's not a myth. I think you just confused it like I did the other day. We used about 10% of our brain at one time. We use all of it throughout our lives or it wouldn't be there. It's kinda like a computer that you can run a few programs on at any one time. Our "processors" can only handle a certain set of activity.
i.e. most people can't listen to an audiobook and read another book while watching TV as the same time and solving an equation, you know? That's what the 10% means...I think. No?
No. We only know how to MEASURE 15 percent of brain function because of the archaic measuring techniques applied. It isn't really important anyway to find out "how much" and that is the main reason you will never find anybody with any credibility doing a study that falls this far into the "needless information" category.
Paley, K. Dream wars: a case study of a woman with multiple personality disorder Dissociation : Vol. 5, No. 2, p. 111-116
Multiple personality is seen as the adult manifestation of child abuse (Fraser, 1990; Baldwin, 1990; Ross, 1988; Kluft, 1986; Bliss, 1985; Greaves, 1980) . Putnam, Guroff, Si

MPD/DID is very real. Intragration is not an option for all, but it's good when it works. The feeling of "death" is very real for those that live with this.

Dear America,
Stop bitching about non existent disorders and problems you have such as Anxiety, Depression, and ADD when you are actually healthy from upper middle class families.
This woman has experienced the true reality of hell and the psychiatric effects of trauma.
Sincerely,

ilovehayley89 1 year ago
@ilovehayley89 it's a shame you feel this way. it's kind of like someone with cancer telling someone with AIDS, or vice versa, that they are "Actually healthy". I mean... eating disorders come to mind - highest death rate of any mental illness. I's not "worse", because I actually believe hell alive is maybe even worse than a high mortality rate. But who is someone experiencing one hell to qualify their experience as somehow more valid suffering than another person's hell that they can't know?
rashedly 1 year ago 13
@ilovehayley89 I appreciate what you are trying to say, but you need to understand also that those things ARE real. My older brother grew up with depression. It is not a 'non existent disorder'. It is real, and it is frightening. It is painful to watch my older brother, my best friend, suffer from something like this. Before you start telling us what is real and not, get your information right. Stop talking like you 'know' everything, like you've suffered from it or seen it in someone you love.

Kartemest 2 years ago
When you find the truth, you will find there is no separation between you and the divine. You just aren't normally conscious of this. You saying demon is a reflection of how you have been conditioned to react to such a statement. : Truth has no fear because it can be proven with facts. Lies cannot be proven and are created when someone fears you knowing the truth. Fear is based on lies. Lairs will make you fear the truth to protect their lie. BE WARY OF THOSE WHO ARE TRYING TO MAKE YOU FEAR.

it's amazing how much power our brains have over "us" that many people simply ignore isn't it? Of coure really our brains ARE us, because that's the only thing that really makes us different... but wow.
oliverj83 2 years ago
It's not as mad as you think it is. There are lots of cases when females hate their bodies/sex so much that they actually stop having periods altogether. It's also been proven that some women who spend a lot of time together, like friends etc, actually start having periods around the same time, even if their cycles were different before. It's sort of like when people are hypnotised to change their diet - their appetite changes and they don't want to eat as much. The mind is a weird thing ^^;
NekoBeau 2 years ago 2
yeah i know that. but the fact that each personality has a different menstrual cycle. she must be ovulating all the time. its insane! yeah the human mind is a strange thing!
somnium36 2 years ago
@NekoBeau the reason that women sometimes mestruate "in sync" is nothing to do with the mind. Often the girls and i at work will realise we all have our period at the same time! Or if i've been spending alot of time with my best friend we'll fall into sync. This is because of the pheromones that women secrete, much in the same way as a person sweats. women pick up eachothers pheromones and their bodies then respond! still pretty amazing. :)

This is interesting though,
interesting how the first case of MPD came from experiences of kissing a dead person at a funeral home (3 faces of Eve) all the way to the modern version where its possible to have even 25 personalities in one person.... so does more abuse/traumatic experiences mean more personalities?

The multiple identities (dissociative identities) are symptomatic of severe trauma. If they exist, it means that the person is suffering from severe trauma. They don't just spontaneously appear to make life interesting.

i think it would be a good thing if you had MPD but it is not caused by traumatic experiences. It would be like a way of organizing and filing your thoughts to optimize and specialize certain tasks. Sad that one package (MPD) comes with the other (abuse).

@MrSantaClaws1001
THe truth is people who develop DID from the trauma of their childhood were strong people to begin with. They had gifts that would have come out naturally if they had not been abused. DID is unfortunately a way to negate severe pain that was inescapable.
Ricine 1 year ago
@Ricine That isn't always true. Some people who have/had DID aren't strong and are very broken and messed up. We only hear about the ones who are highly functioning, but there are also many with dissociative disorders who are very dysfunctional and unable to cope. Not necessarily because of the dissociation, but because of the abuses they've suffered. Dissociation may be a coping technique, but it isn't always enough.

Most of the time people with Dissociative Identity Disorder have these moments called "fugues" where they lose time, or black out while their personalities take over and do things. Then the original person wakes up and has no idea where they are or what they've been doing.

Caglehead268 2 years ago 3
we all use about 10 - 15% of our full brain capacity. She wishes she did....she's retelling what her therapist told her.
doomsdaymonster7 2 years ago 4
It's true that there's lots of things we don't know about the brain and the mind, but that "humans only use 10% of their brain" thing is a myth. Unless you have brain damage that prevents you from accessing every part of your brain, you use all of it. Just not all of it at the same time (ie; various memories will remain dormant until you're actually thinking about them, and washing the dishes requires different parts of your brain than playing the guitar.)
p1nkl1mes 2 years ago
It's not a myth. I think you just confused it like I did the other day. We used about 10% of our brain at one time. We use all of it throughout our lives or it wouldn't be there. It's kinda like a computer that you can run a few programs on at any one time. Our "processors" can only handle a certain set of activity.
i.e. most people can't listen to an audiobook and read another book while watching TV as the same time and solving an equation, you know? That's what the 10% means...I think. No?
doomsdaymonster7 2 years ago
