I'm totally holding you to your promise. An elephant. Or a ball (bull?). You must be on one of them next video. Also, I thought of you today cause my preacher talked about Epicurus... *giggles*
My sister and her boyfriend started dating when they were in grade 12. When they went to university, my sister went to Memorial in Newfoundland Canada, and her boyfriend went to USC (you can't get much farther apart without leaving the continent). They each did four year degrees and both graduated last year.
Last summer they got married and are now living in England.
Just a happy-ending long distance relationship story for you, because I guess I'm in a sharing mood or something.
I know what it's like being apart from the one you love. My boyfriend lives miles away from me and it really does suck. I know your pain @iamthealterego xx
@frances3290 You obviously have no idea what it's like to be apart from the person you love 99% of the time. Telling him to Man up, is just ridiculous.
For my bf and I meeting atm is rather impossible, he lives in Ausralia and I live in Belgium and it's incredibly expensive. I'm still in college and he just started school again. For me however the hrdest part isn't the being apart, I do miss the physical contact but I knew what I was getting into when we started this. The hardest part for me is the actual leaving because as opposed to you guys we never know when we'll be together again. 1/2
We had two amazing summers together but leaving him is a little like dying every time. Once I'm home again, after a few days I'm fine and used to not being physically together. We've been together for about three years now by the way, just to put things into perspective a bit :P 2/2
Don't want to sound mean but you flicked your head 35 times to remove your hair of your face during this video. Had to actually watch it again with out looking at you so I could concentrate on what you were saying .......Also I would appreciate it if all 4 of you tried to speak more clearly. As someone who doesn't have English as their mother tongue it's often really hard to understand you guys.
I hope this ends in the closing of the distance, 'cuz I can clearly tell you 2 are in love :)
@PLC4mieHeaD Dan needs a hair cut. =P He had to record this on his webcam because I wasn't able to make a video today. Thank you for the tips, though. I'll try to speak a little more clearly in the next video. We're always up for constructive criticism.
And I hope this ends in the closing of the distance, too. Because I love this boy more than anything.
my boyfriend and I are going to be waiting out the next 5 months so that we can close our gap..I always fear we're not going to make it...... I'm going to try to convince him to visit me for my graduation in 3... do you guys have any advice on how to ask for that visit or things we should consider and how did you guys make it so long without seeing each other?
@alternifeind15 You know, this is a really good topic for a video. I think in my next video I'm going to remind people it's completely fine to email us questions. We want to do question videos at some point. As for asking for the visit: just ask. It's going to be nerve wracking, but worth it in the end. If you're too nervous to ask on skype, face to face, send him a letter. Just try "Hey, when do you think we can see each other. Because *insert time* works best for me."
@alternifeind15 As for being apart... just communicate. Talk about everything. Talk about why you like each other. If you're upset about something, talk about it. It's going to be so much harder if you can't be completely open with each other.
Im one of those people who falls into the not so lucky category. Im in an LDR and have been for just over a year now. It can be a couple of weeks between when we talk sometimes and its really hard. But its totally worth it because your more close emotionally and thats necessary in a relationship. But it sucks to have the constant reminder that they arent there. I just started uni this week and have already met like 3 guys who have the same name as my bf -.-
this video is just so amazing, and i really really wish you two both the best of luck in the future, i really think you guys will make it work! :) this video is beautiful. my best friend is in an LDR and i know its hard for him sometimes but i know nothing makes him more happy than his girlfriend and i can see its the very same case here :) you guys are awesome!
i like this kid more than any of the previous vloglovers. he's just as young and not-yet-jaded (one day, bro) as the rest of them but he seems a bit more practical and intelligent.
I had a LDR with someone in northern sweden, i live in Canada. He came to visit me. we had been together gf/bf for almost a year. We broke up a month or so after the visit because it was too hard to have to wait another year before seeing eachother again. It was easier for us to break up and see other people because it was easier to let him go, see him happy then hurting because we couldnt be together like he needed to be. Not a day goes by that i dont think of him still.
It amuses me that you say it's 'easy' to see each other, when you have to fly all the way from England or the other way to do it :P Not everybody would consider that easy hahaha.
I'm glad things are still good for you guys and I'm sad that you are sad 'cause I know how it feels. Unfortunately it's too far for me to pop in for tea, but maybe one day, yeah? :P
You guys seem absolutely wonderful, it's refreshing to hear you talk so openly about feelings. I guess that's one of the necessary perks about being long distance; the words are so much more important.
If you stand on a circuis ball you'll be even taller! you're already 6ft 7"! sorry that you guys have to wait so long to see each other, but at least the visit was a brillient as you expected it to be =) x

And the standard: d'awwwwwww you guys <3<3

@frances3290 "Man up"? Gender stereotypes are seriously tedious. Leave it alone.

@topmantr A lot of things are tedious in this world... being intelligent isn't one of them.
resonemang 11 months ago
@resonemang perhaps... but being high and mighty about your intelligence totally is

@squeezytoy No.. Sorry you misunderstood, I mean being apart from the person you love, for 99% of the time.
