  • Susanne Lundeng is the most crazy violinist in the universe ! :D

  • Sorry, didn't notice someone had already mentioned the info in my previous post

  • The tune is called "The Guns of the Magnificent Seven". As you might guess, it's not an old tune and was written by an Irish bouzouki player called Fintan McManus

  • Whos yer wan havin a fit to the right, she looks ridiculous.

  • Brilliant! - Irish Norwegian crossover!

  • in the middle hardanger fiddle Norwegian folkmusic.

  • Susanne Lundeng on the right

  • Each to their own, but you don't float my boat.

  • It sounds good. :D tehe This is European life. And I love it! tehe

  • Sounds more "celtic" than "norsk".

  • det e norsk folkemusikk ja!

  • Lien is great , but this particular presentation with these three sounds very stiff and plastic - in my humble opinion , McManus 's tune sounds a lot more natural and alive in a Nomos record , "I won't be afraid anymore" with Liz Doherty on fiddle....

  • This ain't norwegian folk, it's Irish.

  • It is actually a mix. The lady in the middle is Annbjørg Lien, who plays Hardanger-fiddle.

  • one of those other girls is Catriona MacDonald

  • Caitríona McDonald on our left (Scottish). The tune is called the Guns of the Magnificent Seven. It was writen by an Irish bouzouki player called Fintan McManus. Apparently one of his mates suggested the title, and the same guy also happened to play in an Irish-Swedish band at the time, so maybe that's where the Scandinavian connection to Annbjorg lies.

  • Is this Norwegian folk music :O? SOunds a lot like irish folk music. What a GOOD violin player, in Sweden we have he "nyckelharpa" for our folk music instead :)

  • The girl on the right is freakin like there's no tomorow :P

  • Hey I have her album! I'd like to go to some fiddle concerts in Norway...

  • Comment removed

  • Annbjørg is Norwegian. He's wondering if the *other* two fiddlers are Irish.

  • This is the song that sometimes takes the building in the matter which our forfathers were very used to...that feeling thats left in everybody..that comsic energy..everybody gets Yeahh...BASHHH!!!

  • the word is tune. a song has lyrics chap.

  • Annbjørg is my neighbor :)

  • Lucky you! I wish she was my neighbor :)

  • Thanks for this clip! The fiddler to Annbjørg's right is Shetland fiddler Catriona MacDonald. I have no idea who is on her left.

  • Annbjørgs left: Susanne Lundeng
