Of all the tags I've listened to online, this one is BY FAR my favorite. I especially love the tiny little crack/scoop in the tenor's voice at the beginning of "-shine" at 8 seconds. It adds an extra emotional element to an already BEAUTIFUL yet poignant tag.

You have a ton of talent. So does the brother from New Zealand. I am a competition barbershopper from the late 1980's through the mid '90s. We won Kansas State in 1988 after a quick "throwtogether in about 5 weeks. Three of us were from Newton Kansas, the tenor (me, a natual bass), the baritone and bass. We could not find a suitable lead locally to be competitive but did lure one from KC. We took CSD in 1990 and competed 4 years straight at international. You are gifted buddy.

No it's an arrangement from a woman called Vicki Uhr. As far as I'm aware, no male quartet has sung this song with that particular tag. I've heard a female quartet sing it with a soft quiet ending, but can't remember who. =)

well, only on the part of mixing it together .. other than that no, Nick Brown is an incredible singer with amazing range, he can reach those notes and hold them, I know beacuse I've stood right next to him when he's done it. And the other guy is a music perfectionist, he is a musical theory freak. These too are just amazingly talented, just because you can't do it doesn't mean anything that can is "studio work"
