  • I won't be at Greenbelt this year as I've moved to NZ :(

  • Once seen, never forgotten indeed. Whenever MJ does a set at GB it's an amazingly emotional experience, the bond between performer and the festival is so strong. Leaves one reeling really.

  • @francisb1977 Hi Francisb agree with you there.....I hope you can get to see him on this Autumns tour, the passionate performance you get at GB is magnified a hundred times .He's sounding better than ever:)

  • I sometimes forgoet how good this song is, not only how important it is. For me its a Sunday over Liverpool.

  • I was there, Cried like baby at Cardiff Bay. Fab gig!! Love it!!

  • I wonder how many people where at GB this year?

Greenbelt don't you know that I love you?

  • There seemed to be more than last year... or it just felt like that to me..... I love Greenbelt too .... I am counting the days to 2009 :-).... so next year MJ back on Mainstage and Delirious to have one last blast before they call it a day!!

  • I think it got to 20,000 people for the whole festival.

  • I was there :D he's a total legend

    xx

  • really enjoyed MJ but did any of you at greenbelt go to the cider and carols on monday eve ??

  • I think MJ really hit some amazing form on Monday....I missed cider and carols :-( was it good ? , I had to go early, I missed Beer and Hymns on Sunday too.

    The Simon Mayo session was brilliant, i'm sorry i haven't a poo....hysterical!!!

  • I missed Martyn this time :-( so thanks for posting the clip here. I did get to Cider and Carols tho and it was fabulous. It finished off with We'll Meet Again and Auld Lang Syne and wishing each other a Happy New Year, not a dry eye...

  • Thanks for the comment.... maybe MJ will play mainstge next year :-) ...They couldn't squeeze anymore into the centaur...I discovered that it's a 2000 capacity and they had a Greenbelt record 2175 squeezed in for Martyns gig plus some outside in the foyer just listening...

I hope GB do cider and carols next year :0)

  • i was there and agree re the baby - one of my fav songs of all time. selfish, but hey, worse things going on than a baby crying in a song

  • I was on the balcony and there was ababy just left in a pram to cry all the way through this song. It was flippin annoying and very selfish not only on those of us trying to listen but the poor baby.

  • he stole our chair!!!!

  • Lol!! you Can't trust musicians ;-)

  • what a grand weekend!! Seen martin plenty times but this was one of the best. Really enjyed Franti, and seth lakeman as well. 12th greenbelt and best yet i would say!!

    Thanks for the vid!

  • awesome! rated 5/5. I was at Greenbelt myself. Had a great weekend.

  • Aw thanks for the comment....What a Weekend Eh? Michael Franti ...Seth Lakeman then this phenomanal set from Mr Joseph..Totally spoilt I was..:-)

  • I missed out on some artists/bands though in the performance cafe, they need to make it much bigger for next year. I like all differant kinds of music. I was mostly in the Underground stage this year. (I'm uploading Greenbelt vids as well)

  • I saw a bit in the performance cafe..I agree they should make it bigger... I went over when Stu G from Delirious? turned up to play alongside someone else and the place was rammed I couldn't get near but it was like that alot of the time... I caught snatches of stuff in The Underground ..mainly while queuing for the Loo :-0)sounded good.

I look forward to seeing your Videos.

It would have been perfect if GB had filmed this MJ set!

Brilliant Festival didn't want to leave.
