Carter quit on Toronto. It wasn't a particularly bad situation, but he felt he wanted to be traded and that was it. He sulked and faked injuries until the Raptors gave him away to NJ. If they continue losing, you'll see Carter going to the basket less and less and "injuries" taking longer to heal. He'll quit on you and ask to be traded.
