One of the greatest pleasures as a small child flying on all the airlines was that the crew presented you with a set of small plastic pilot's or stewardess wings of the airline as you left the plane.

I must admit I am hooked on this program now even though I still have a few criticisms about the introduction of modern themes and morality. The writing seems to be improving and they have lightened up on us Conservatives and Republicans!

Wow, I didn't know Margot Robbie was British. I didn't even guess it. She really pulled off the American accent.

@Clipper1094, the show was never meant to be a documentary, like choosing2lookeast said. There wasn't going to be a focus on airline operations, it wasn't an instructionables show either. It was always supposed to be about the personal lives of the stewardesses, their struggles, their triumphs...and okay, their beds too. ;)

it's also about the lifestyles of the period and how people behaved and held themselves back in the day. Though I'm pretty sure they'd make room to fit in some of the technical, operational, mechanical, and even corporate aspects of the airline down the road. Personally, I'd like to see more "beauty passes" of the exterior of their planes when the scenes take place in mid-air... not necessarily skip straight into the cockpit or the passenger cabin sets.

I was looking forward to this show but did not reach my expectations. The show is called PAN AM I don't care who is sleeping with who focus on the airline operations not the personal life of 3 flight attendants.
