Been trying to get it to play for past hour. Even reconverting to .scr file numerous times. all I get is a black screen and no sound either. My original mpg file is HD and 158mb in size. Could it be to big?

@fraziersutube Yeah same here. I think you might have to edit it down to a more simple size which I'm guessing would be like forty seconds maybe before it loops again? Like the average screensaver. Even forty is too much

Hey, I followed your instructions, but I'm having trouble...I'm using a rather large MPEG, and when I use irfan view's preview it works as desired. When I hit save as .SCR, the irfan view I have doesn't have the radio button for full screen/windows. When I save to my desktop as SCR, and 'OPEN" or 'INSTALL' the screen saver I get is just a blank black background. Same through the Windows Preview window. Suggests? Please advise. Alright check this out guys, I had some trouble finding videos, due to his method being outdated(??). So what I did was download Vdownloader, it allows you to input a web address on a page with the video you want, it will then download the video to your computer in the file format you input, nifty stuff. Follow his instructions from there, note you will probably have to restart your computer after setting it as your screensaver, otherwise the screen will remain black. Hope this helps!
