Avoid DLP's at ALL costs! Old technology that has been discontinued...terrible picture...all you are getting is a HUGE bad picture! They are designed to last only 2 or 3 years and then throw away and buy a new one! Ever wonder why only cheap discount stores sell them? "Big" is NOT necessarily better. Buy a smaller LED for better picture, longer life, less power use, and all-around better value, ( no $300 bulbs to replace every year or so!)
I have one of these as well. Mine is about a year and a half old and is still working perfectly. Was perfect right out of the box. I love it!!!!!!!!!!!
No one needs a 67" television, I recently looked at a 32" with a blu-Ray player for $600 which is what I'll be getting, I saw how big that thing was and I was amazed, 1080p made it even awesomer, I can understand a 40" but 20" more than that, no that's insane. And high def after 1080p is no longer visible to the eye, there's no better quality then 1080p.
actually yes there is you got 1200p and 1440p but dose are seen on imacs or decent monitors lol this tv is fucking huge and i congrats the guy for his purchase
absolutely LED LCD it's newest technology, very slim, excellent brightness and amazing pictures & color but extremely more expensive for big sizes! good luck
@ameenalbriki i got a plazma big mistake had mine for 1 year and then screen burn and they wouldnt pay to get fixed and if i got it insured or a warrenty the still would not fix it has the new this telly has the problem thye said to get it fixed £500 im like fuck off i payed £500 for it as it was a clearence sale was £1000
Mine lasted 13months, now I'm screwed to pay $480 to fix the piece of crap. I'm getting rid after it's repaired if someones interested in buying it. Thier so good Samsung bailed out of making DLP's anymore.
lol i have that tv he probbaly thought it was led like me i hate this tv stupid bulb burned out im gonna get the new samsung led HDTV the really skinny one
Lol...for everyone who saying this is not a LED, actually it is. I think you are confusing LED with LCD. LED is short for light-emitting diode and LCD stands for liquid crystal display. All the newer Samsung DLPs are have LED technology.
these samsung LED/DLP Tvs are they good pic?? because ive seen some DLPs in the store that are terrible and i cant find DLP TVs made by samsung on google/new egg or there site why not???? and theres a toshiba 72" DLP TV whats its back light?how do i know if its LED?? should i buy a 7 series LED TV from samsung or a 72" DLP from toshiba ??
whats best TV i can get for 1700 (im lazy and dont wanna save) should i go with size or quality or a mix of both what Tvs would u suggest?? are there any good ones on sale??
Wow, I am thinking - that's one big dude... better stay away from the TV and couch some... then I see that TV and think... wow that's one big tv. Nice video - thanks.
Just got the 61A750. AWESOME tv. 1080p movies are amazing and stunning. This TV is the best value. And this DLP is LED powered. No more bulbs to replace! Highly Recommended. BTW...no more movie theaters for me...I'm staying home from now on to watch Blu Rays on this bad boy!

I have the same bad boy and it rocks. Now if you get the tridef kit for it it makes it beyond anything you can think of 3D on everything you watch. Great Price for 67 and it looks great. Now LCD 65" is about 4 grand so I go DLP any day well samsung DLP
Hm, I think I want one of these. Too bad I've been spoiled by the thin design of LCDs though :( I think this display looks awesome, but I can't get over how thick they are. Still, I hope you enjoy it! I have no doubts that I would!
You have no clue what you're talking about, this TV doesn't need a lamp replacement it's LED Powered and it last about 13 years or so depending on the use, plus this TV has no problems with angle viewing.

or you can buy Mitsubishi 65-inch LaserVue HDTV that is backlight by Laser .
- the samsung is 40% brighter than traditional HDTVs
-the mitsubishi is 200% more color than traditional LCDs
crystal19831 2 years ago
what site is the mitsubishi on and if the laser is so good why doesnt samsung or other TV producers make them?? and how much is it
bizzy400 2 years ago
1- the site is mitsubishi-tv(dot)com
2- because it is the world's FIRST LASER TECHNOLOGY
3- buy new for $6949.99 from amazon and it's worth it :)

for your price i'd recommend Philips 52PFL7403D/F7 52-Inch
- for it's HD Natural Motion it makes the picture very life-like movement
- it is the mix of quality and size and low price

Dont really like dlps you have to change the bulb the viewing angle on dlps is not good. thats why they only cost like 2000 bucks. but they are good.
NewPSCity 3 years ago 3
Weakness points I recognized (until now):
1- The viewing angle.
2- PIP restricted to ANT reception only.
Attractive points:
1- Incredible & brilliant brightness & colorful picture because LED powered.
2- 3D ready feature.
3- Value for big size 67" & Full HD.
4- Thin & light & energy saving & no bulb to change.
ameenalbriki 3 years ago
You have no clue what you're talking about, this TV doesn't need a lamp replacement it's LED Powered and it last about 13 years or so depending on the use, plus this TV has no problems with angle viewing.
xvt001 3 years ago
It does have angle viewing issues. My biggest beef with any DLP display, not excluding this one, is the vertical light banding. The brightness drops off above and below the height you are viewing from. It doesn't make it a terrible display, but it really bothers me. LCD and plasma displays have much more consistent lighting. And yes, I've seen the display in this video in person.
