Chloe has one of the purest voice I have heard for sometime. Hope to hear more from her either with The Celtic Women or doing Solo Albums. She is truly a joy to listen to.

@SBell1959 Ever think you dont have words to describe something and when you find the word to uniquely sum up the voice of Chloe you doubt if that discription is accurate?
Peter.
It's Powerscourt Waterfall, County Wicklow, just south of Dublin, a county I have the privilege of living in, though I don't always remember to appreciate it...
her beutiful voice compliments the irish language so well. i would love to hear her sing more Sean Nos Gaelige. makes me proud to be irish. we have one of the most beutiful laungages in the world
If i remember correctly it is Gealic an anceint tongue which was used in times before the holy roman empire struck Ireland and Scotland. In times of the Druidesses and Druids.
her voice calls for the nature and the nature seems to respond! her voice, the song, the view all of that is so amazing that sometimes i feel like crying, this song makes me to think about my today's life and my future life
"God works in mysterious ways, for out of Ireland came an Angel".
For out of Ireland came an Angel, indeed. This child has so much light to bring to the world that her voice can bring men with the coldest of hearts to weep.
In the Bible itself, no mention of female Angels was ever made. But I truly think that God has decided to make an exception in this lightbringer.
Beautifully said. For out of Ireland came an Angel, indeed. This child has so much light to spread to the world that her voice can make men with the coldest of hearts weep.
This is a beautiful song. It's one of my favorites from Chloe. Off topic, does anyone know where I can find a recording of the song "The Friendship Tree", which she sang in Egypt at the age of nine?
This song is written by Rolf Lovland, who also wrote "You raise me up", for the album "Songs From A Secret Garden", by his group Secret Garden. It's a wonderful piece, and I'm glad it gets some more attention.
SO feel free to comment on this...who is the song describing? I personally, being a pretty fervant Catholic, think its saying that Christ is the one setting us free, purity of heart and mine, and the Holy Spirit...and then makes a reference to the Sacred Heart of Jesus when it says "your burning heart"...What are your thoughts?
I was most fortunate to see the girls at Radio City not only this year, but last year too. Good thing I saw them last year because the lobby was selling this DVD there and there ONLY. It's being sold in stores now, but back then(March 2006), if you didn't buy it on the spot in that Hall, you would've had to wait up to now to get it. Good thing I made the smart move and bought it back then. To this day, it's still one of my most-watched DVDs.
Thank you.

If women only knew that this is the kind of woman men can respect and desire. Two amazing women...Chloe Agnew and Jackie Kennedy. Wow.
If men would respect these women more often, they wouldn't be like the horrid examples we find in society. USA

She is perfect to sing about purity. There is a nice version of this by Secret Garden with the Irish National Choir. I like both versions very much.

I search for the sign
That will set my soul free
My soul must be pure
So that I can find peace
The wind is your voice
The rain is your tears
You burning heart
And spirit is my salvation

Scaoileas m'anam saor
