hey, this might sound stupid, but i have been asinger for almost 5 years, and if u gargle some cold sugar water, like take about a cup of cold water and about a table spoon of sugar and mix it and gargle it, it clears your throat for u to sound better, not raspy or anything =)

Well, I'm a really good singer, and I improved by trying to sing songs that were harder for me, then I kept doing that same song over and over again until I improved on it... Just keep doing that until you think you've gotten even better :]
