Hi All,

Just wanted to state that, since the "Tiger" has been my unit, we have NEVER billed it as original. It has always been represented as a replica. Here is what it says on our website:

"Our replica PzKpfw VI Tiger tank is one of the ones used in the movie "Saving Private Ryan." This was the tank that was taken out during the famous sticky bomb scene."

Originals are pretty hard to come by these days. :)

Somehow these complaints about "zomg its a fake" are just plain BS. They are just trying to do their "job", even though you can clearly notice it is a fake. But it still looks cool and does it's job as a Tiger.

Now all weenies who keep saying "Omg its a fake u guys suck", provide a real, functioning Tiger for some re-enactment group and I'l give you a cookie. Deal?

Saying what it is, isnt criticism, I dont mind re enactments but I dont like when people try to misrepresent what they are. What I have to compare it too btw is the real thing? It only takes a rudimentary knowledge of tanks to recognise a T34 dressed up as a Tiger 1, the whole geometry of the tank is wrong, though in some cases such as Private Ryan the camera angles can be used to minimise the differences. But as I said nothing in what I said could really constitute criticism anyway.

No misrepresentation was ever done. Read the comment section. It says "Reproduction Tiger I." Title space is to short to include the word "Reproduction." It also says Ft. Indiantown Gap PA, which is clearly the location of the reenactment. For those outside of the United States, the abbreviation "PA" is the US Postal code for Pennsylvania.

The voices in this video are in English, wonder where it was done, appears to be a T34-85 dressed up as a Tiger I and the armoured car looks like a fake too. Far too small or the guy in the turret is a giant :)

The ironic thing about sam2dope and dronken's argument is that the tank seen in this video is actually a T-34, made to look like a Tiger. If you look at the tracks and wheelbase, you'll see it lacks the overlapping wheels of the Tiger. Also, the tank is far smaller then a real Tiger. So, you were arguing over whether or not a T34 could beat it, when the tank in question IS a T34 ^^

u really don't know much about tiger v t34 do you ? it took several T-34's to take out a single tiger 1v1 it would be utterly destroyed by a tiger and Germans also had by FAR superior tank crews e.g a gunner loader and a commander where as Russian T-34's commander served as the gunner, im guessing your to best at history eh
