Of course these artist have amazing powerful voice but its also about the tone and sound. Ciara's voice is smooth. It really depands what kind of singer u are e.g accoustic singer BB Jean has a wonderful husky sexy voice. Ciara has the package, lloks, stage presence, dance, personality, voice.

I like Ciara, but CAN'T sing while dancing...and the vocals in the performance sucks. Ciara can't achieve what Janet has done, and never will since her career is over now.

I recently noticed that it seems that Ciara sings songs in a way that makes it harder for her to sing later. She sings kind of fast sometimes or in a way that makes it difficult for her to use vibrato. Its not that she can sing she makes it harder on herself. I think no matter way she has talent! Both vocal talent and dance talent so I disagree with bristay1 you a hater!

sound like a hater to me...Ciara aint da greatest singer but one thing I can commend her on is the fact that she knows what tracks her voice sounds good on. When I see her live performances she never sounds as though she is straining or damaging her voice. She knows her ability, even though it may be limited compared to other female singers. But now-a-days you gotta have alot more than vocal talent, which Ciara does have.
