@catra195 I was about to write something similar about how buddhists beleive that when you are being reincarnated as a human you see many couples having sex. And you are attracted to them. You even choose your sex based on which you are attracted to more. They figured that out over 2000 years before freud. but what is nice about science is that it can prove these philosophies in day to day life.

freud was the first person to analsys himself? he was the first to lift his own defenses overcome his resistance and interpute his dreams. what shite, ever here of christianity the human story is built on self awareness, we call them 'Saints'. freud limits the human person to sexuality and corrupt sexuality at that? Catholic teaching recards the human person normativly as free to choose to be!. external circumstances infringe but r never dominant without consent; (thats why we pray).
