But I still have to say to all the people moaning about how 'unrealistic' WW and SS's graphics are- you can make Link and Zelda look as realistic as you want, the game will still be about a girl with royal blood and magical abilities and a boy running about in a tunic and floppy green cap, trying to save her. Zelda is a FANTASY game, and therefore doesn't need realistic graphics to be awesome.

I'm trying to tell people that the Zelda HD demo for Wii U is a fancy scene from Twilight Princess where you fight Ganondorf's spider form and NOT a new game. Those same naive people will be disappointed when the next Zelda ends up looking completely different from the tech demo. Just like with the Spaceworld 2000 demo.

This looks horrible. Nintendo made a great decision to go with cel-shaded graphics over this. They worked within the limits of the console and created something beautiful. Gamecube was not made for realism and it is completely incapable of realism. Wii is the same way, still.

Wind Waker is one of my favorites, but you can't blame someone for being upset by the look of it after watching this. If you heard the initial crowds reaction and felt that euphoria after watching this for the first time, you couldn't help but be upset when they introduced that Hello Kitty cell shaded cartoon Link. Technically I think the Xbox was more than twice as powerful than the PS2 and Cube, plus it offered only broadband connecting (no dial up) and used a hard drive for storage. Looking back on it the Xbox was amazingly far ahead of it's time. I mean, XBL for Halo 2 was so far ahead of the online gaming offered by the other machines (sans the master PC of course)

i noticed something. this is adult link from ocaraina of time. but in that game adult link used the hylender shield. in this he's using the hero shild witch young link uses in majoras mask. well ok maby her grew up with it. but hes using the master sword witch at the end of ocaraina of time he sealed away of all time. so he can never use it. so now i know y the chose wind waker. i mean even the trailer makes no fucking sence. so yea make wind waker. becase this trailer is a mind fuck.
