  • @90034468 Hiya Ross, Thanks for letting me know that. I was impressed with the acceleration as New Barnet and Hadley Wood are not that far apart. Barry

  • Excellent shots! Very dramatic, storming out of the dark.

  • @MrMoorkey Thanks for the comment. Tornado was certainly shifting and it's nice to see steam on the fast line. Barry

  • Great crisp video. What camcorder do you use?

  • @AndyDandanFisher Hi, I use a compact camera with a High Definition video capability. It's a Lumix FX550. Thanks for the comment as well. I'm glad you liked the video. Barry

  • another good shot on a gloomy november night, o for summer nights tornado was running well though

  • @alanthorn481 Hiya Alan, It was quite windy. The gloom was because it was nearly 11:00pm. Thanks for the comment.

  • Excellent! The deserted station really adds atmosphere.

  • @wobbler44 Hiya, A First Capital Connect King's Cross had just left so I had Platforms 1 and 2 to myself. Thanks Barry

  • Excellent night shot

  • @sirhcsteam Thanks for the comment. Barry

  • Hi Barry. Lovely footage, well lit, and full of atmosphere, in both senses. I like the way the rubbish bin liner flutters in the breeze from the train. If you're looking for constructive comment, I think the clip would look even better if you chopped off the panning bit and faded out just before the last coach passes you.

  • @jrdaddykins I agree with you. I shouldn't have panned. Barry

  • Tornado's going like the wind! 'Scuse the pun there! Not intended!

  • @SatNavDan You could say that. It was a bit windy last night. Barry

  • Nice

  • @MrHosepipe123 Thanks for the comment, Barry

  • @cmeonthemove Hiya, Thanks for the comment. Yes I've spotted Tornado is running to Tornado. I hope to see Tornado pass Hounslow on its way to Norwich that day. Barry

  • Great vid, nice lighting.

  • Super video Barry. Regards, Jeff.

  • @bobnweaver Thanks Jeff, barry

  • Cracking night shot Barry , flying along nicely and the driver gave you a great whistle . Steve

  • @TheStephengthompson Thanks Steve, I was impressed at the acceleration because Tornado had stopped at Hadley Wood which is only just over a mile away. Barry

  • Great capture Barry - we need more performances like this to restore confidence in steam. Just curious as to the cause of the strange purple line on the going away shot. Do you know the origin? Chris

  • @khankadet Hello Chris, Thanks for the comment. The strange purple light is because my camera cannot properly record certain types of white light. It's when there a single light. I really shouldn't have bothered to pan round really. I don't think it added to the film. Hey-ho.
