Alright. This is Kayle and I just read through these comments. I want to say Thank You to everyone offering words of kindness =)
As far as everyone else goes..
It took a lot for me to awkwardly sit in front of a camera, and try to explain the worst experience of my then 20 years of life. Only to be criticized by strangers who seem to enjoy doing it? It is nonsense. I am not offended by blatant ignorance. No one would want to walk in my shoes, as nor would I in anyone else's. Buckle Up =)
first off i dont understand why people have to be so rude. they do not know kayle, she is one of the most amazing people i know. every time she drove before and after this she wore her seat belt i think she was just too excited to get where she was going and forgot. i think everyone is guilty of not wearing their seatbelt at least once just normaly nothing bad happens. i love how everyone judges but the speed limit is 55 mph on that highway so she wasnt speeding.
My fiance just released an album dedicated to his mother who has MS. Half of the proceeds will go straight to the MS society. Support good music for a great cause! Please!
I admire your strength and courage to deliver out the message to all drivers young and old on what could happen when you irresponsibly and recklessly drive. Take care..
You seem upset. Fact is, it's hard to feel sympathetic when privileged white kids make poor decisions. She had her license for a matter of weeks and had already decided that seat belts were for squares. She'd already forgotten about taking it slow in inclement weather. Why was she even in an Explorer? Everyone I know, myself included, got small, dependable, but weak cars when they were new. Any adult in my community would ridicule a parent letting their kid drive a big, powerful SUV
@Clipzin33 Insulting someone's intelligence while simultaneously failing to spell simple 4 and 5 letter words. Classy. Power and bulk is exactly why SUVs are unsafe. Higher turnover rates. More momentum to fight during a loss of control. It's a terrible combination for new drivers. That's a fact. Accident and crash statistics support this. They also support the fact that SUVs are more dangerous to other drivers as well. Another reason to keep them away from kids.
@NiteSaiya ouch, nice call out. I dont agree, the driver is unsafe. Any vehicle is unsafe, and I kind of agree since an suv would be a 6 or 8 cyl, but sorry, driver inexperince is the issue
my brother age 18 his birthday was yesterday and he wrecked on aug 29 2011 and he broke his c6 and c7 and his t1 vertebrae ..he is currently in icu he is on a ventilator and he is paralyzed from his abs down..they our trying to win him off the ventilator.. if u want u can add me on Facebook search Brock Pace I'm from monroe , La..Thanks again
40 to 45 MPH. You were speeding due to the weather and not wearing a seat belt...
Damn that is a hell of a price to pay, but you can tell you had a wild side to you that bit you in the butt hard. This is why I wear my seat belt and drive the speed limit. For a new driver as you said seems like the basics went rolling out the window too. Protect yourself. Its sad to see you like this but let this be a lesson to others to not do what you do.
You SHOULD do everything to protect yourself. Karma is going to roll around and bite you in the butt. Stop acting better then everyone and learn to respect others!!
@MrFlyinhigh YOU r A FKN DBAG!!!! How is she acting better than everyone else? Feel free to email me at micaroony@yahoo.com or on here... I'm a para going on 25 years on 1-9-87---- I have NEVER felt sorry for myself or blamed anyone.... WTF is your problem?
@mommahen11 Please be aware of how to use and read the comments before you fly off the handle with irrational comments. It clearly says who that comment is for, just like your post does.

White girls driving SUVs without seat belts seem to be a disproportionately large share of motor vehicle accidents. Natural Selection at work.
