He has spoken at other book challenge hearings. The books he'd like removed and burned include materials with gay or sexual themes, including magazines such as Rolling Stone, Cosmo, and any book that portrays homosexuality in either a positive or neutral way.  Books condemning homosexuality would presumably be OK with him. This hearing was about gay-themed books written for young adults.

Is that why the church basically bought the Prop 8 vote last year here in California? Spent millions to deny same sex couples the right to marry. Our money has "In God we trust" printed on it...unfortunately there is little REAL separation of church and state.
