The team = Canadian acheivment and global dominance. The USA uses an F16, Canada uses a sherwood stick. Also Great Canadian players have an ethical image to uphold. I'd just like to say that you obviously have no idea what it is like to be a goaltender. I'd really like to see you go out onto the ice and have frozen chunks of rubber hurrled at you at incredible speeds and stop every single shot. So what if they don't make every save, they are still top goalies. Yes, I agree, some have had better years, but it's not always about how they do alone, it's about the entire team and how the team plays together.

Look at the spread from 2nd to last place in the W.Conference to a play off spot. The spread is 5pts (2 victories and an OT loss). The 2nd to last spot in the East is 17points from a playoff spot. (almost 9 victories). I wouldn't be suprised if any of the top 4 Western teams could beat Phily. Also, its more demanding to win in the West b/c of higher travel fatigue
