Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep.

To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them,

and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills.

LOVE this... does anyone know other Chants of this style? Especially the way he keeps softening the stanzas with those heartful hums? It is so beautiful... is this a particularly named style? I have listened to other Pali Paritta chants and this is very unique?

@phyllip180 This is the thai style, cambodia and laos also has similar styles of chanting. The sri lankan pali chanting and burmese are separete, each having its own notations.

I seriously wish they had some semi-transparent English subtitles scrolling right to left along the bottom of one version of this, approximating the Pali or Thai meaning of the words for non-Thai speakers.
