find myself eating insane amount of it like I can sugary gummy candies, probably because it's much more satiating. I'm happy you're back, and back on track. I'm wishing you loads of luck this round, and also luck in recovering from sugar addiction. You can do this and I'm here to support you!!! This was a great Vlog btw.
@stepharoo85 - Thanks for the kind words - I'm just trying to "keep it real" so to speak. Choco D is great, but not "quite" as satisfying as say, a Butterfingers. But, after watching "Sugar - The Bitter Truth", I'm feeling better about eliminating as much sugar from my diet as possible. I'll have to make more Choco D, and the Lemon truffles, and also the Raw Brownies that I used to make (with a LOT LESS sweet coating). I'm sure I'll eventually kick it.
@GyroplaneFan Ohhhhhhhh God Butterfingersssssss. I haven't allowed myself anything like that in a long time, and I know what you mean about Choco D not being as satisfying. That's why I've been making it with that PB2 peanut butter powder stuff, because it's a little more like Reese's hahaha! You WILL kick it, I think it just takes a while to correct most likely a lifetime of unhealthy eating habits. You're definitely on the right path!
Gosh you've been on a tough ride, I'm sorry to hear about the sugar addiction creeping back up after doing a round. I've seen a lot of other people on here that deal with the same struggle, it's a serious addiction. And it's true, probably better to avoid it like it's drugs or alcohol otherwise you take a bite and it instantly hits you. I love that you have that drive and determination to get back on YT and back on HCG and keep yourself healthy. Do you have a problem with the Choco D? I don't
Hey Now! Seems like there are lots of us in the same boat. I'm right there with you. Now I have been taking phentermine for a week every time I'm up about 5 pounds. It works, but I still need to do it on my own. We will get it !
Hey Terry, I hope you get this because I'm commenting from my phone. YT always marks it as spam. When you mentioned The Bitter Truth, I was so surprised to hear that you has watched it too. I didn't realize at first that you got it from my recommendation. It's really long. I wish there was a condensed version but it's worth it once you finally get through it. Thanks for mentioning it in your vlog.
@DEBBYRN1 - Hi! Got your message just fine - THANK YOU for recommending that video! It was totally worth the 1.5 hours to watch it. I've loaded it to my tablet so I can re-watch sections as needed. IT has made me re-think sweets in a big way. I can't say I'm cured of my chocolate addiction, but I'm now looking at alternatives once I'm out of P2 and stabilize.
Ha! was just watching bitter truth this evening. anyhow, stick to it in R10, when you done, check out leptin reset. also all the hcg'ers are raving about this book "Weight-Loss Apocalypse: Emotional Eating Rehab Through the HCG" by Robin Woodall kindle or real book. my saying is "know the difference between a cheat and a bender... don't go on a bender"
@Sourpusscandy - Yeah, I downloaded the Kindle version of that book today onto my Tablet. I'll start reading it tomorrow. Should prove enlightening ( I hope!). Will look into Leptin Reset once I'm done with this P2. Going to try to make this a good year for weight loss and stability.
GREAT vlog!... We are so much alike!.... This is a learning process.... it is so good to see you fine "tuning"..... that is exactly what we have to do!... Keep up the great job!... We are here for each other in this Journey!... Big Hugs!
This vlog totally hit home for me. I've been struggling with the same issues. I'm a sugar and food addict. Daily battle with it. You have great plans and I know you'll see them through.
I have yet to make it through p3 without sugars or carbs- Im lucky to make it the first 3 days- Im up 10 pounds from ldw (which was in October) and load this weekend for a new round- I know what you mean, lost 110 so far and still hate the mirror-
Good to see you again. have been wondering how you have been. i will definitely look up that sugar video. i know you will do well, but still going to wish you the best on your round!
I think we all do.... we would not be here if we did not have an addiction. Did you read Full filled? look it up. I am reading it now on my phone. So far it is really good book on food addiction and HCG. Good luck on your round. Maintaining is the hardest part. We can do this. I have lost 165 pounds, that is the easy part. Life long maintaining is what I am worried about... Reading all week about this topic.
I enjoy your VLOGs.. I appreciate your candor and honesty. I've been on the HCG bandwagon since May, 2011... down around 60 lbs and feel it's very good.
Getting ready to do R4 in a couple weeks. I really empathize with your feelings about sugar and going "off-the-wagon" and eating sugar in higher doses in P4 etc...
Don't beat yourself up too much though, just do what you know works.. you're an inspiration to lots of people and deserve to be validated, so let me say WELL DONE on your wins!
You are speaking my language. My issues with gaining over the holidays is not that Hcg doesn't work, it's me! I too have such a hard time with chocolate aka sugars! I'm gonna have to watch that video. Your plan sounds very well thought out. Glad to see you! Hope tomorrow goes great and you have a super round!
