  • Nobody likes a lazy fuck who doesn't want to spend 10 seconds looking up lyrics.

    Faggot is the reason why American youth is so damn shit these days.

  • This song is basically Her asking him to marry her and to be loyal for all time and he says NEIN aka no. The song is aplay on words since Du Hasst is you hate and Du hast is you have.

  • du hast means you hate

  • it says "do u hate me"okay!!!back off!!!

  • Ich liebe RAMMSTEIN !!!

  • el video esta bien perron

  • Translate the words with the video & you will getter a better meaning, not just the word's/ go the Germans when it comes to New Heavy Metal & New sound's. Just emagine the world would be like if the germans did win.

  • these guy suck balls

  • misto melodia.........cred k e hard rock

  • fuckin freak i am gunna assassainate him

  • it depends on how the hast is spelt it could be "du hast " meaning you have or "du hasst " meaning you hate as they sound the same so maby it's a sond of double meaning

  • he is saying she hates me....du=she

    hasst=hates

    mesh=me

  • du=she

    hasst=hates

    mesh=me

    he is saying she hates me for all of u that wanted to know.

  • great song!!

  • so since i dont wana look up the lyrics what do the words mean, i know its german. ive heard that du hast means i love you and i hate you so far lol whats the whole saying mean though?

  • No... You you have * you have me you have asked me you have asked me and I have said nothing Do you want, until death seperates you, to be faithful to her for all days No Do you want, until death, which would seperate, ** to love her, even in bad days No
  • the lyrics are- You, you hate , you hate me to say, you hate me to say, and i did not obey,, will you until death does sever, be upright to her forever,, NEVER,, will you until death be her rider, her lover too, to stay inside her,, NEVER,, ! Du hast was translated to "you hate" as it sounds better

  • You hate me

    you hate me to say you hate me to say

    and I did not obey

    loose english translation

  • i love you is "Ich Liebe Dich" I think in direct translation "Du hast mich" means "You Hate Me" but im not 100% pure

  • Du hast mich - You have me

    Du hasst mich - You hate me

    Ich liebe dich - I love you

    The following choruses later in the song are verses said during a marriage. The can be interpreted as being a discontent of marriage.

  • du hast- i hate you...but in the lyrics Du hast mich gefragt...means: u have asked me

  • Its kinda hard to translate since what he says ("du hast mich") could also mean "You hate me" (In german it would need to be spelled with another s though). The Refrain says that someone asked him to marry her but he said no.

    "Du hast" actually just means "you did" in this case. He later on sings "du hast mich gefragt" what means "You did ask me".

  • theres a version with english subtitles =)

  • @ThaNedster828 du hast doesnt mean i love you, it means you have, verb haben, du means you. i love you should be ich liebe dich or ich dich liebe

  • Nice quality!

  • zupaa (thats the only german word i know lol)

  • Yo This Video Rocks!!!!!!!!!! I love it

  • Hi Mates,

    "Du hast" is an incomplete German sentence and is used as a wordplay.

    Translated into English it means first of all "you have.." and you will ask "what"?

    In German the words "Du hast.." sounds similiar to " Du hasst" what means you hate.

    For a German ear the first words in singing sounds like "you hate.." but then the singer continuous to sing "Du hast mich gefragt und ich hab nichts gesagt" the meaning changes to "You asked me and I've said nothing".

    Cheers

  • @propulse1 shut up!!! it means "do u hate me!!!"back off smart ass!!!

  • THI SONG F-ING ROCKS!!

  • no it means "have" hate is with dopple s

  • ni it means "have" in english^^

  • "Hast" does not mean hate.

  • Beg to differ...

    Hassen = to hate

    Ich hasse = i hate

    Du hast = you hate

  • True

  • No actually your wrong.

    Du hasst. (With two S's) - You Hate.

    Du hast. (With one S) - You have.

    They are spelt and said very simmlar. But it's not You Hate.

    The song is Du Hast. And in the song he is saying Du Hast. So, it means You have.

    Otherwise the lyrics wouldn't make any sense.

  • Du hast = You have

  • i beg to differ....

    yes you are correct but "hast" has a double meaning, which gives this song a double meaning. it also mean have, and its meant to be a play on german wedding vows if you translate the rest of the song...

    Willst du bis der Tod euch scheidet

    treu ihr sein für alle Tage=Do you want, until death seperates you,

    to be faithful to her for all days

    and then he says neine....

    but officially the song is called du hat=meaning you have, du hasst is the phrase for you hate

  • wrong

    haben = to have

    du hast= you have I did it in German at school today

  • And to settle it all up, it's Hasst with double 's' that means hate

  • @Giluc

    wrong... its hast with one s and it means have.

    the song is saying du, du hast, du hast mich, du hast mich gefragt

    which translates you, you have, you have me, you have asked me.

    the way they arange there words in sentances though is much different then english so actually translated its "you, you have, you have me, you have me asked."

  • your right.
