Salaam alaykum: I heartedly believe that people WILL NOT return to God by *imposing* the Islamic law (Sharia) but through bridges of friendship and love, without impositions. In such a way, people (like I have done) will get closer and closer to Islam by faith from the heart. The Prophet (PBUH) believed that true faith will come from the heart, not from impositions.

when Katrina hit your own friggin country, your president 'denied' sending decent help there, and a year later its still all wreckage, while US spends billions into wars and such. you put mexicans to work on your fields for a buck a day but when they try to get more out of life, you kick em out. for such a wealthy country youve got the poorest people and the biggest ghetto's. and on the case of women. US is ninth on the ranglist of most rapes in the world.

How is it the government's responsibility to send help to area's affected by natural disasters? As far as Mexicans working here illegally, they are breaking the law and deserve to be treated like criminals. Also, where do you get the data for the US having the poorest people? I seriously doubt the US has a poverty problem. As far as rapes, our women are not afraid of reporting rape; unlike other countries that accuse the woman who was raped of adultery then kill her.

Fighting war is a responsibility of the government. Bailing people out of a natural disaster is not. Charities should take care of people after natural disasters.

compared to other western countries they do! maybe in your big castle in rich ass land they don't but if millions are working 2 jobs and still don't have health insurance. and a great job your government is doing! as your rape rate is only increasing! and i can admit, that's a flaw those countries posses! but those are way fewer victims then all the innocent people the US killed in their search for oil! making the flaw not less something to regret.

Because a "great" person/nation doesn't simply consume but is also responsible and fair. Greatness isn't a darwinian idea where the strongest survive. Great souls/ideas/nations are also mercifull, wise and judicious. US culture and environmental policies don't demonstrate greatness because it is a consumption on a mass level regardless of the consequences. Just because one can do a thing doesn't mean it SHOULD do something.
