My channel plays a couple vieos even when the auto play is not checked on, how can I fix this? I have some that don't autoplay when not checked but some that still do play even when autoplay is not checked. Why?

How can I disable Autoplay for all channels? When I visit a channel I do not want the video to play. I want to look at the playlists, favourites and so on. Then I might choose to pick a video and play it, but this autoplay is very annoying. I am now unsubsribing from channels that have it enabled.

@youtubesneak I found a partial answer to my own question: On Firefox I installed Greasemonkey and the installed the userscript titled:YouTube Auto Buffer & Auto HD & Remove Ads

This worked! It lets me configure autobuffer too. Only problem is in Opera the Autobuffer does not work, but at least it stops the videos autoplaying.

@Ardarail just go to "video and playlist" in your channel, check the box "autoplay featured video", that's it. Simple

To do it with the new layout, go to your youtube account page. then go to the edit channel panel [that rhymed] and click on the "Videos and Playlists" tab. Just below that, there will be 3 drop downs, the third being the featured video. below that is the autoplay box ^_^

For some reason I no longer see the 5 stars under videos, and when the videos are done playing it goes to this other random video in "Next in search results". I've tried turning this off many many many times and it keeps coming back on if I click Back or something. It's annoying and I don't like how it keeps playing the previous video while I'm looking for something new to watch. I don't like these new changes. SOMEONE HELP PLEASE

Ok here's my question: Sometimes when I make certain videos (wether they are mine or not) the featured video on my channel, they autoplay everytime with no explination. For other videos, it does the opposite. Anyone know why this is?

It used to be for the people by the people but these days the partners get all the features to artificially boost their views and the rest can go fuck themselves. I'm even convinced YouTube goes out of it's ways to prevent the average schmuck to get hits. You can't even upload a profile pic anymore. It's ridiculous.

Excellent.. now I just need to find an option to stop videos from autoplaying when I visit Youtube profile pages.

There is an annoying tendency for a video i've always seen to keep wanting to autoplay itself, every time I use a back button to go back to a youtuber's user page.

I would rather force autoplay to be disabled while browsing, and i'll manually play what I want to play....

ok, so i wikipedia'd render farm (because i really didn't know what that was) and i guess what im trying to create is a computer cluster. but im still confused on how to set it up. do i just connect each computer through Ethernet cable, then connect the last one to the router? or do i connect all of them to the router and somehow connect them?

To connect those computers in a cluster you need to have them all running a similar OS, preferrably a UNIX design. Then have 3 computers work as nodes for the fourth. Kind of like a master/slave situation. If you think it's simply as easy as 'connecting motherboards' or plugging in ethernet cables I don't have much hopes for you actually being able to set up a system like this though. But you could have a look at the wikipedia pages for some popular cluster designs and go from there.
