@leonel8359 You clear the bonus stage in the Fortified Towers. It is not the hardest since it is doable (especially with maps online), but it is still tough as it is dark.
I wonder, does this only work for the wizard, as he is switched with Sumner there or is that possible for all characters? And do you REALLY have to unlock every character for this? This is tiresome (talking about the Cloud level in particular -_-)
1. Unlock all of the characters, including Sumner.
2. Collect as much gold as you can with your current character.
3. Save your game.
4. Go to "change", and switch to Sumner.
5. When Sumner is picked, choose "change" and you should now see the Wizard instead of Sumner. Pick the Wizard.
If you did this trick correctly, then the Wizard will have the same amount of gold your current character had. The character who originally had the gold will still keep the gold too.

I heard rumors that all characters must be unlocked first before Sumner can be used.

Which isn' true. I missed like 4 bonus characters before entering the battle trenches and I could unlock him.
But, does this only work for the wizard or for other characters aswell?

Let's put it this way.
Any character other than the Wizard has the gold.
The gold copy applies only to the Wizard (with the character who originallly had the gold still keeps the gold.)

If you are referring to Sumner, yes, he is indeed maxed in all 4 attributes.
For both the Archer and the Wizard, their gold is maxed at 99999.
