Okay - to be technical, as you know Senate Bills and House Bills have differing registry numbers. The House Bill pertaining to this is HR 1540.
The respective Senate and House Bills are now in Committee for reconciliation.
I have yet to determine whether the House version contains anything resembling the Levin-McCain amendment, but I would caution you that a 93-7 vote does not bode well for the people of this Republic.

Unless WE CAN QUICKLY Mount a popular protest to section about military detentions w/o due process, before it passes after conference committee work which is being done now. This week it will go to obama, he'll veto, and then each house of Congress has to revote on it. With more than 2/3 in both houses, the BILL WITH that SECTION WILL PASS!

Okay - to be technical, as you know Senate Bills and House Bills have differing registry numbers. The House Bill pertaining to this is HR 1540.
The respective Senate and House Bills are now in Committee for reconciliation.
I have yet to determine whether the House version contains anything resembling the Levin-McCain amendment, but I would caution you that a 93-7 vote does not bode well for the people of this Republic.
