We Filipinos are very used to seeing gay people and we embrace no matter how gay they are. Even the lesbians here. The actors of that film played their part very well and we take pride in that. No matter what it looks like. No one who played a part in that film is REALLY gay.

I feel sad for filipinos not enjoying movies because of of the story, the actrors' performance, and the movie art as a whole. Wake up and move on.. Sean Penn won the Oscar for best actor for his effort in the movie MILK, representing the life story of Harvey Milk, who was an American politician and the first openly gay man to be elected to public office in California, as a member of the SFO Board of Supervisors. Filipinos are mostly used to gays wearing girl's clothes than respectable gay men.
