oh my god...nice!...holy shit i would love to see this in person....the Italians had some beautiful planes, but they were underarmed and the pilots lacked horribly in their training...stunning example of a 202 though, just beautiful!
Was it not either the Fiat g50 or Airmachi xx the fastest propeller aircraft of ww2? Faster then the Spit mark IX and Fw190? The Italians did know how to make a good looking aircraft like their cars anyway.
First of all the highest scoring non-German ace in WW2 was the Finn Ilmari Juutilainen with 94 confirmed victories. Look him up.
Second of all the Finnish airforce had the highest percentage of downed aircraft in comparison to their own losses. For instance they flew the outdated Brewster Buffalo (a mid 30's American fighter) with a 32:1 win-loss rate. Considering the small numbers and outdated aircraft the Finns did miracles.
The Finn ace Oiva Tuominen had 44 victories, of those 23 with the Fiat G.50. The most successful pilot with this fighter. Including the Italians themselves.
Considering the odds, the overwhelming material and numerical superiority of their enemy, the fact that Finland was short on men, food and weapons, I'd say they were the best fighters of all in WW2. Bear in mind they didn't get neither allied nor German support in the Winter War. Stalin learned a lesson in Finland.
I visited this museum severel years ago. Before its complete restoration.Great job.very nice museum and wonderfull planes.tanks for postings!

@McLarenMercedes You are talking about history. Memakemmara wrote just a stupid comment to waste time. I agree with you obviously.
