I have to agree I really can't stand Stars self important attitude but she did leave the show in a heartfelt way and to make that "speech" the next day was really classless. Should have just had a regular boring show that I have never watched since they so absruptly kicked Debbie off. She was the only one on there with an ounce of charisma.

Much has been said against BW for her response to Star's 'on-air resignation'. Some viewed B's comments as unecessary, even vindictive. I disagree. In the 24 hour period between the two statements, much transpired behind the scenes AND publicly which illustrated not only Star's lack of professionalism, but her judgement.. even her stability.
Regardless of culpability, to blindly "burn bridges" with media powerhouses (ie; ABC, BW) was professional SUICIDE-- & Star had to be aware of that.

the viewers wrote in and questioned about her weight loss and she refused to disclose her personal business. in addition, the viewers were upset because her million dollar wedding was paid by sponsors. as a result the viewers thought these issues were arrogant. ABC agreed with the viewers and feared ratings would go down, they then made a calculated decision to get rid of her. star being a smart lawyer pulled a rabbit out of the bag and kindly told to them so many words to kiss her ass.
